BUG: Cannot dock on Osprey

I have claimed an abandoned Osprey and tried to dock on it with my Buzzard and the elite and even with my Spacesuit(!). I always get the message "Docking Denied".
I can move to the Osprey when it is docked at a station. I can fly it and can give commands when it is controlled by a NPC. But I cannot enter it in any way while it is in space.
Anyone else seen this problem? Am I missing something?
