[BUG] Having xbox controller plugged in but not used causing kb/mouse freeze

As the topic said, just having it plugged in causes the kb/mouse to freeze from time to time and setting the ship speed to 0. Not often, just enough for you to go: Oh, again!
Simple fix is to hit escape to go to the menu then esc again to close it and everything works again. Or simply unplug the controller.
