I'm able to run the game -at medium settings- with the computer that I built almost 9 years ago (minus the GTX 670 which died some time ago). I wish more devs would spend more time optimizing their games, it's amazing that I can run CP considering how good it looks. Just in case this serves as a point of reference for someone:

Played about 3 hours and I'm really into it.

At 1440p on medium just about managing high 50 to 60 fps on a 1080Ti.
This sı not ǝpısdn down.

they did a helluva job making it feel like an overcrowded slum city. I've run into a couple of bugs here and there... main quest stuck on an objective I already finished, npc's T posing. Still, it's impressive. Ray tracing is definitely worth it.

Lord, even my graphics card software is telling me to buy the game. - I bet this morning's Nvidia update was linked to Cyberpunk's release - If any of you post gameplay video, please link it here. I'm likely lacking free time to invest myself in a new game prior to Christmas, but would be delighted to enjoy the game by proxy.

I only got to play about an hour but its pretty obvious that its going to be very very good. The combat especially is really unique, the game 'feels' unique. Didnt encounter any issues so far either. TO be honest apart from wow and x4 I dont play games, I buy them on sale, play them for an hour and then never go back - I have such a massive back catalogue of games I'm 'waiting to play', its ridiculous. If I even play this one extensively thats a sign thats its good, and I think Im going to.

Performance seems to be the main sticking point, and bad optimisation for a few people. even those with high end rigs.Quite a few are reporting getting 50 fps or lower, on low or even med settings.

I think I will wait until there been some patches that hopefully will fix this. Seems really bad. Yet there been plenty of streamers, (not watched) so can't comment on what rigs they have or their framerate.

I think this is a bit of a miss for now. (at least for me)

So for those that have the game, what is your performance like?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjS1dZq ... =emb_title

Seems that the PC version was an after thought. Then again, there a few people with the console versions that the game isn't that great either.

I think at least on PC, this game will need some major work. Certainly going to wait on this.

The game runs 'ok' for me, but not well enough, im not checking fps, just how it feels. Combat is sluggish feeling (vsync is off with fps capped) and its just ruining the experience. Ive been looking at my upgrade options, but just like what happened with the witcher 3, I dont think i'll get to enjoy this game till years later. Where I live we pay double for anything tech that isnt flooding the market - graphics cards for example, double. No chance for me to upgrade my 1060 to a 3060 or something (3090 is $3000, to give you an idea...) DLSS will probably improve performance a lot.
Feeling very depressed about it now.

I just need to get myself a console and be done with pcs, I am sick and ****** tired of spending days optimising games, all the while ruining my initial experience. Even geforce experience doesnt have optimise settings, which usually makes a game run well.

The last couple nvidia drivers nerfed fps in some games.

There might be settings you can adjust to increase performance? There's videos on youtube. I think in geforce experience you can hover over settings to see their impacts?

There's also game streaming things like Geforce Now, Stadia, Xbox Cloud Beta, Amazon Luna.

Oddly enough it works really well for me on GeforeNow (nvidia's streaming service). Sure you can only play in 1080p, but you get Ray Tracing and 60 fps most of the time without buying a computer or console. I think for the price (5,5€ per month), that is a pretty good compromise. Before anyone goes out and gets the service though, it is advised that you have 50 mbits download (which is the maximum GeforceNow can use). I personally have 1gig so I can not say how/if it works on slower connections.

I said that the game must have been ready in April and they held off until now because of the consoles, but I should withdraw that statement. Based on the current state of the game this must have been a buggy mess back then. Can you imagine if Bioware (Anthem) or Bethesda (FO76) had made this game? The best thing about it would've been the trailer.

Other than the couple of bugs I've found, which weren't a big deal, I've not had any problems with this game. I've been playing at 1080p ultrawide with HDR and ray tracing and it's been a very smooth experience.

I havent had any issues either, just poor performance.

Thanks for the link, got it running better. we'll see. But of course I wasted my 'kid at nursery' time messing around with graphics settings, and now my free time is gone for the day

Just had a chuckle on noting a guy's review of Cyberpunk on Steam. - He's had 11 hours at it already, and I visualise a dehydrated dude sat in a puddle of his own urine, discarded eyelids hacked off with a rusty knife, as he stares, unblinking of course, at his triptych of 32" gaming monitors...

My nvidia 1070 is definately not capable of handling all the beauty of this game. Even had to tone down the resolution from UHD to 4K, as well as some shadow stuff :( As soon as RTX with >10GB are cheaper, I'll get one. Other then that the performance is quite nice. Had no bugs so far, only minor glitches (mostly geometry being "off" like floating objects).

Night City is an awesome place to be right now :)

The level of detail in this game is insane. Me and my flatmate just spend 20 minutes reading the graffiti on one wall.

im totally digging the crafting system. how brilliant and such a small thing to do to let you throw crafting materials at stuff you have equipped to upgrade them to be relevant at your current level. I cant wait to see what all this game has to offer.
