x3 dropping to desktop

Just started playing x3, and have had a couple of instances where while playing and having the cursor go into the top left of the screen x3 drops back to windows, like there's a hot spot in the corner, is there any fix for this issue, I'm running windows 10 if that's any help.

Please give the information we need to be able to help you. (BTW: the term X3 includes 3 different games, knowing which helps too.)
