Question about using keyboard

Good day everyone!

I have a question to developers about controls in the game.
I've spent hundreds of hours playing X3(all parts) and created a huge empire with lots of stations and ships. the best and quickest way to control it is using only keyboard to navigate all menu stack. It's very thoughtful decision to do so. It's makes possible to do things realy fast and easy.

And as I saw you only use a mouse in your presentations.

Could you tell us about if it will be so in X4 or not? i think it's realy important for me and other players.
For example if i have a joystick i don't wanna use a mouse at all. i don't wanna use too many devices at the same time.

Will X4 support Hotas (Saitek Rhino for example)? Can use of a mouse be avoided entirely if so desired?
I can't commit to explicit support for a specific joystick, but in general we are aware that people would like us to provide default profiles for HOTAS setups. You should be able to do most things without a mouse, but I can't promise it will never be needed.

Will we be able to control ships directly via mouse?
The game is designed with mouse and keyboard being the primary controls in mind.
