Nice. Thank you! I suggest to put it somewhere while flying too. Like, on event screen or what is it called. Sometimes there is nothing to display in there and during that time it could show money info. Or maybe even make a keyboard shorcut to display that information on there...linolafett wrote:Player balance is planned to be displayed in the map (upper left handside).CommanderTM wrote:Very small but very important visual information for me is - my current account balance, my total worth, my credits tied to trades.
I want this visible at all times when i do anything that may relate to trades or empire building.
While doing trades (which is done via the map) you will always see how much credits you have to play with.

I have to disagree here. Having quickly and conveniently access to your credit balance is what we want. I like the map/trade window approach. It's simple enough to get the info, and it's there to be shown when we need it. However having your wallet's content constantly shoved in your face is not everyone's cup of tea. There are a few playing style that does not revolve too closely around the player's credit balance.CommanderTM wrote:Nice. Thank you! I suggest to put it somewhere while flying too. To go along with your second point, a customisable info screen might be a solution for everyone, but that depends on how much effort the devs can spend on this specific feature versus all the rest that has to be done.
Humans are deuterostomes, which means that when they develop in the womb the first opening they develop is the anus.
This means that at one point you were nothing but an asshole.
Some people never develop beyond this stage.

@ Warnoise: "X rebirth AI is still horrendous. No matter how many new features are there as long as the AI is bad nobody can enjoy."
I guess that might somewhat confuse the people who do enjoy it now, including those many who have posted to say so.
Let's please stick to discussion of X4 rather than just posting to take an exaggerated dig at Rebirth.

Only a quick post but just to say I'm pleased that X4 seems to be fixing a lot of the perceived issues from Rebirth.
I started playing at X3AP and absolutely loved it. If it wasn't for a few sectors grinding to a halt and basically killing the game I would have put a few more hundred hours into it than I did.
I don't know why X Rebirth didn't really grab me. I waited 18 months or so after it was released to play, after the Teladi DLC hit. But yeah, didn't get that same feeling of being able to grind up from a piece of crap hauler at the start of X3AP to having a fleet of automated haulers and self contained factories rolling in the money.
I quite liked the combat and the cap ship boarding in X Rebirth. The graphics were a big improvement for me as well.
It looks like X4 are going to bring a lot of X Rebirth's engine and graphical improvements and marry them with similar gameplay objectives to X3 in which case I will be very happy.
I wouldn't mind seeing the stock exchange make a comeback too. I always quite liked that as I can play it whilst doing other work on another screen. Maybe a bit less predictable to avoid some of the easy cash grabs it could be in X3.
Anyway, looking forward to it Egosoft. Happy to wait till it's done!!!

Robots and Androids
Can you please add in Robots, (cleaning, pets, security, ship door/gate defenders, cook, etc.) Why are robots with buying, building and repair maintenance not add in the game since they will exist in real life after 2020? I want my co-pilots to be Female Androids !
