I hope the truth will be told, I find it hard to believe it will be natural causes for both of them. Something is clearly amiss.

Indeed possible, but then again, they should have smelt the gas? unless there is a reason why they chose to ignore it? unless the gas leak happened when they were sleeping?

Edit

Not a gas leak, from the latest reports. and there are two other dogs at the home, and they are OK. a post-mortem will hopefully say what might have happened.

Seems from the report I read, that Gene Hackman's pacemaker failed. There is still doubt on how his wife died, and the police are still investigation. That will likely still take time.

RIP John Mayall.
Died at 90
I thought, hang on, he's already dead, did he bounce?

Then I read the article, "John Mayall passed away peacefully in his California home yesterday, July 22, 2024".

So they are saying that both Gene Hackman and his wife died from natural causes. His wife Betsy Arakawa died as a result of complications from hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS) - a rare illness transmitted from rodents to humans. While Gene Hackman died around a week later, he was suffering from Alzheimer's disease and probably didn't even realize his wife had died, they suspect he died from significant heart disease. The dog's autopsy hasn't been done yet.

By the sounds of it, they were both in pretty bad shape, health wise and what with America having an antiquated health system akin to the Stone Age no one was checking up on them, it's astounding as they must have known his pacemaker had stopped working, as far as I can tell it was connected to the outside world after all. Here when you are in late stage Alzheimer's disease usually they keep a close watch on you, normally a district nurse or health care assistant will visit daily.

RIP. The only film I really remember him in was Heat. But he did do a fair few films. So sad to see him pass away.

It's pretty weird, I have not thought of Val Kilmer or seen anything about him or any of his films for years, then last night I watched a video that was talking about his cancer, and today he is dead.

I got to ask who is Dave Täth, I'm sorry I have no idea who he is and doing an internet search turns up a flat earther website called Täith and run by a man called Dave, something tells me that's not who you are talking about.

He was an important tech guy (as in one of those behind the scenes who keep the show running).
