About 80 years Earth standard after the fall of the gates.
A warm night on Argon Prime. An apparently young woman with naturally blue hair is sitting on a bench near the Argonia City spaceport fence, gazing dreamingly into the distance. Her name is Siobhan Inja Norman, and she has the slow-aging genes. She ages more than ten times slower than everyone else.
But this is not a blessing, it is a curse. She must betray whoever is closest to her heart by leaving them, long before they start to wither and die, while she herself stays young. It has always been this way.
Tonight, however, in this wonderful summer’s night, memories are overwhelming Siobhan; memories of her first true love, whom she had to leave almost two centuries ago.
In her mind, she’s writing him a letter, back in time, while sleep is slowly taking over. She’s signing this imaginary letter with the words -
From Siobhan,
with longing
