I believe more smart make another sector and leave people with old version untouch

:P yes i have full functional in old TR
but i want many sector as possible - i believe more "galaxy" make game balance self

well i can dream one galaxy for each faction? :P (include pirates trade between)

Hi Observe. Thanks for the 'new' Transcend game start. Been eagerly looking forward to this. Did you manage to add Pirates and more sectors to the new release at all?

I've been out of action in terms of modding for a while. I decided to pick it up again, to bring it into compatibility with Rebirth 3.x. Two new sectors have been added and since I've started playing again myself, I plan to continue adding new things along the lines discussed previously.

Fortunately, it's easy for me to maintain both the No Highways and the With Highways versions. I prefer no highways, but I understand not everyone shares that sentiment.

Hi Observe, thanks for the mod. I've been playing your mod several weeks as a second gamestart after campaign. I have many stations an a full economy. I've triyed to activate this new one (well the one with highways :P ) but savegame is not compatible. :x . Is there something easy that I can do to make it compatible? In negative answer, can do ya spoil some about new mod that encourage me to start again? (long journey to build again all the stations, traders and so...)

I opted to apply the new version into a game that had no earlier version of Transcend working, though; so I can't say for sure.

Observe said that he would like us to do a new game start though. Wonder if he has a surprise in store for new game starters.

I have:

in my content.xml files. Observe seems to have moved the ids to the ends of the lines in the new versions.

ps. hm. antoniut's post seems to have vanished. Or I've had too much of NZ-Wanderer's spaceweed.

Yes because there is no content file in extracted folder, but in mod folder yes... :roll:

What the hell? Is working man!!!! Thanks a lot Just after1 sec. after loading, an enemy marauder titurel appeared in the zone I was building!
The superhighway doors to new sectors have been appeared! Quick look and all the stations are in his place.

Looks interesting, Teladi-space style everywhere. I'll have to give it a go. Where do fighters fit in this system - they fly zone-to-zone themselves, or are they removed from the jobs file too?

I also notice the Egosoft tag is gone - is that brief stint of official collaboration over?

Fighters (and all other small ships) now have boosters for traveling zone-to-zone.

Hi Observe

Continuing from my previous post from this thread

it seems now they manage to overcome the raiders parties, but now after scanning the shipyard and requested to build a capital ship, in which they lack all the resources, i am not seeing any icon on the shipyard for me to sell them the required wares...

is it that expected and i have to search through the trade list menu to sell them the wares? because if this is the case, i am not seeing those required wares by the shipyard to build my ship in the list :(

Hi Observe,

I want to use Transcend mod but although in the usefull thread "mods that are working for 2.50 -3.50" points to Transcend - Lost colony, you say here that it is obsolete, to use this one here and not Lost Colony. I'm confuse... What mod I must use and are they both (just Transcend and Lost Colony) compatible with 3.20/3.50? :?

I sincerely apologize. I forgot that removing from Steam would also remove from subscribers. This is a very bad feature of the Workshop. This version (no highways) is obsolete. I intend to update it at some point in the future.

I believe this is the old version you need. Please place in your game extensions folder and let me know if you have further problems.

Note to others: Please do not download the above link to the old version unless you are also a victim of the mod disappearing on Steam and you need to run old savegames made with this mod present.
