Hey,

Great news re: the DLC :)

Should I be seeing anything listed under DLC for Rebirth currently? I clicked the link in Steam, which brought up a browser window (so, not in the Steam window) I then clicked "Pre-Load" but I get an invalid URL message.

I will try again in a bit, in case it's a Steam glitch...

The art design looks absolutely incredible as always, very much looking forward to this. Looks like a beautiful location to set up a station empire, hope there's enough space.

New ships and such sound great, and I very much like the new Teladi style, if what we can see in the screenshots is anything to go by. Looks quite geometric, very clean, but very functional - standing out nicely from the other races' ships. The system design itself contrasts well with the polluted-looking Albion, scorching DeVries, and slightly cold, desolate and monolithic-feeling OL. New content like this is always welcome - but particularly now most of the engine and core-gameplay issues and oddities are smoothed out.

Perhaps at some point, whenever Egosoft think is best, there will be gentle suggestions reviewers take another look at the game? All of this looks like it will make for excellent, and above-all redeeming publicity. Particularly with a nice shiny trailer.

Well done to all the folks at Egosoft, sounds like it'll be an interesting few months ahead. :):thumb_up:

I have a question, will there be a booster packs at some point for the CE card game with the ships that have been added since the games release?

Unless the details about V3.0 arrive long before November 1st, I see no reason to consider purchase. And I'm certainly not going to pay extra just to get stuff that should have been there at release.

It's free if you've already purchased Rebirth...but I just noticed from your sig you haven't yet.

So, I wonder how much extra the DLC will be for NEW buyers after this date?

Ahhh so *that's* what the art dept have been doing these long months since launch :)

@Linolafett - Fluffy cockpit dice to go with those teladi? That ring station looks great, giving Fronter Developments a run for their money in the shiny steaks huh?

Good work, looking forward to seeing some of the new things, the art team has been awesome so far so I can't wait to see their take on the Teladi.

A new system but with only two sectors? That's not much, especially since you're considering adding more "pirates" (with stations?).
I'd like a bigger playground personally, even if some places are empty (sectors or zones acting like buffer zones between two factions for example).
Anyway, can't wait to see the new features (more weapons yay, also maybe more medium ships?).

Looking forward to this new expansion.
And it's (temporarily) free as well. Stuff like that is what makes me really appreciate Egosoft.
1940s - Various "computers" are "programmed" using direct wiring and switches. Engineers do this in order to avoid the tabs vs spaces debate.

was the important part imho, look forward to hearing about that.

I sincerely hope this is the break through moment for XR, things have improved and I'd like to see you getting credit for good work from all sources. Good luck.

Nice, glad the DLC is free however it does suggest that DLC will be paid for in the future contrary to previous products.

We'll have to see if the costs of the DLC are in balance with what you get (in my experience that never is the case). For now we can at least enjoy the free DLC.
