Hi all, long time lurker here.

Since I am giving AP another shot (and trying to do some petty modding) I started to draw some rough concepts and ideas about some aspects of the X universe.

I'll be posting some rough (and probably unfinished) stuff from time to time, so please have mercy.

This is the first one. A veteran Split officer, wrapped in his (probably) outrageously expensive armored spacesuit.

Always wondered how boron could move around in alien stations, and I think that some kind of magic anti-gravity capsule would do the trick. The design isnt exactly boron-ish, but i guess they could use more conventional-looking models to deal with the other races.

Fantastic!! I love them! The boron suit is similar to what I thought they should use, but on my design they have their skin exposed (and tentacles dangling out the bottom ).

Are you planning on doing more? I'de love to see your ideas for the paranid.

Yes, I plan to post some more from time to time, and I'd like to do some Paranid stuff too (im not sure how im going to draw a 2,50 tall marine, tho. xD)

You mean meters? Paranid are about 9 feet tall I believe. Teladi are the short ones, supposed to be around 3-4 feet (but rebirth seems to have changed the lore, which is up to them I guess).
Nothing would win a fight against a paranid! They would eat split for breakfast

Boron too are tiny at about 4 feet. Not 100% sure on the numbers, but its something like that.

Lol yes, 2 meters 50 cm being the average height, according to the X Encyclopedia.

That comma was meant to be a dot instead xD.

Probably something like that, wearing long sleeved tunics, walking around and annoying everyone in range with that holier than thou attitude.

(I just forgot the extra segment in the arms and the eight digit hands, but they look better with just four xD.)

Another brilliant one, nicely done!
Love the 'dress' style. You could add more joints to the arms if ya wanted as well (although it looks like you might be hinting at that at the elbow?). Great stuff though, and I agree about the hands.
