Mouse look on stations (Saitek X55 Rhino joystick) - workaround found.
Now that my saitek x55 works better with the recent patches, i have trouble on stations. My mouse will look for a second after i click the mouse button and then stop and i have to click again to look around, its very annoying and game breaking for me. There was a similar problem with my x52 pro which was solved by centering the throttle on the joystick, that does not work with the x55, i tried with every throttle position. there is a mode switch on the throttle which i believe causes constant input, and i know there was a similar issue with the x52 and x3. is there a command for x rebirth to ignore certain joystick buttons like x3 so i can test if its the mode switch? Thanks

Hi, I just bought the game Two hours ago and I had the same problem with my X55 and the mouse
I found a solution by adding "-ignorejoy 32" (without the quotes) in the launch parameters option on Steam
Apparently the game doesn't support when a button of the joystick always send a continuous signal to the game.
The button 32 is the Mode Selector of the Throttle.

Hope this help
Sorry for my bad english.

thanks, thats exactly what i wanted. I knew that was most likely the problem, but wasn't sure if the ignorejoy command worked in x-rebirth nor did i know which button the mode switch read as. I will try this when i get home. thank you.
Edit: so a bit of a pain in the ass, I set to ignore the mode switch, but if you have mode switch set to m2 or m3 there are no buttons lit up in the controller config in windows but i set it anyways. After that i had to center all 4 rotaries. The 2 on the throttle itself are easy as they have indents that hold them centered, the 2 on the base however are just twisty nobs like an old tv. after that i had to center the throttle which isnt easily achieved with this device over an x52 pro, but i found the sweet spot and its working ok. ill just ignorejoy all the rotaries and deal with the centering throttle.
If a mod could rename the thread to add X-55 Rhino to it and close it, that would be swell. <Edit made for you. Alan Phipps>
