Newly uploaded files cannot be downloaded, it seems. I recently uploaded this, and it shows a hint that only registered or logged in users can download this file. I do not see an option to change this, though. Also, while the file entry is shown on the Latest Files page, it is not displayed on the category pages I uploaded it to (X3R -> Total Conversions). Finally, if you do upload a file, you're no longer presented with the bbcode which can easily be posted into a forum post. It's just the Download link now.

I've changed the permissions to fix that download problem, not sure why it did that. Added the bbcode back.
It is in that category but it's on the next page which isn't obvious, so I will have a look at trying to improve that.

I haven't seen that manual in about 17 years

I've disabled the send first password by email, so that should fix the problem.
The passwords and emails are encrypted in the database.

I'm just reissuing the SSL certificate for xdownloads.co.uk so it might be down for a little bit, not too long hopefully. X1TP.com still works though.

Hi, I think it was just some broken permissions, you shouldn't have to login to download. Try again now. if it isn't working, can you tell me which ones you are trying to download.

Ok, I've changed the permissions for them two and going through the other x2 files individually. I really need to work on the site, its starting to show its age on the backend. Some of the uploaded files are from 15 years ago
