X3 Albion Prelude - Getting Missions
How do you get small jobs (not part of the main campaign) from stations?

1. Find a station with an icon next to it. (Red Crosshair, White Lightbulb, Orange Cent Sign, Green Blocks making a Pyramid)
2. Target that station either by pressing "t" while looking at it or selecting it from the sector map.
3. If you're within 25km press "c" to comm the station.
4. Find the corresponding symbol next to a name on the list that appears and select that name.
5. Click on option #1. (It should say either "What are you offering?" or "Do you have a job for me?" or something along those lines.)
6. Read the mission briefing and accept.
7. Done.
