CLS / SDS v9.2 - Supplier & Consumer Question

I've read for a bit and think that I know the answer.. but ;)

Q: Can a single factory be both supplier and consumer within a (one CLS ship) loop?

EG:

I was anticipating my one CLS (2/5) could deliver e-cells to a crystal fab and bring back some crystals.. Some of what I'd read indicate that multiple suppliers all need to be the same type factory for a single CLS.

Seems it may be technically possible -- BPH / Adv Trade Mk1 can sort of do this when all factories are in a single sector but it's kind of tricky to keep to a private loop with NPC factory of the same type are around.
