I've installed the newest Version of EES and use the Combat Mod 4. After i've loaded the Savegame i got the follow messages:
- Laser characteristics vor Laser 42 are undefined.
- Missle characteristics for Missle 35 are undefined.
After a look in the Files TLasers and TMissles i could identify the Data.
The laser 42 is the Fusion Pulse Disruptor from the cmod. Missle 35 is the ghoul missle.
Could it be, that your script don't know this new weapon? The Ghoul missle is a riddle for me.
Mad_CatMk2 wrote:Hi Roger, EES is interesting and seems to work, but I have just a SLIGHT problem/issue with it?
Every time I load or continue a game (a new game too, that is...)
It sends me two error messages:
Laser characteristics for laser 42 are undefined
Missile characteristics for missile 35 are undefined
And I am using the latest CMOD atm...
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Ok, that should be easy to resolve. The simplest option is to download Changeling, import your game data (assuming CMOD is installed as a fake-patch), import your EES configuration and then re-export your EES configuration. The two error messages should then go away.
Also, it is probably fair for me to remind people that there is an FAQ in the first couple of posts of this thread. This particular issue is addressed by item 2.
I politely request that anyone with issues reads AT LEAST the FAQs BEFORE asking any Troubleshooting questions. I am endeavouring to keep it up to date and relevant.

At the end of 5, there is a cutoff?
Im not sure what to do if i did get AWRM.
Sorry about that, will fix the update the uploaded distro today, but to answer your question...
Is there is any other way to get rid of those "laser characteristic undefined" messages at every game load?
I tried channeling but I got errors everytime I try to import game data (you select the game folder, right?). I'd post them, but they are written in polish and I cannot translate that technobubble to english
I'm using CMod4.8 +CMod missile rebalance, both as fake patches.
Everytime load the game I have about few dozens errors about laser and another few dozens for Missilesa characteristic.

What errors do you get? Try posting a dialog only screen capture. I don't understand polish but I might understand enough from the screen shot to be able to point you in the right direction.
The errors seem a bit odd given the line numbers reported. The issue is with processing the TBullets, TLasers, TMissiles, and TShips files which seems bizaar as does the reported line number.
I have one idea that the root cause may be related to the "locale" that you are running the software under. I am looking into this for my next release. In the meantime, you could try temporarily changing your Windows locale to either English (UK) or English (US) then try using the tool again.

You mean that little language icon in lower right corner? Of some modification of register?

Depends on the version of Windows (tends to vary a little)but...
Start --> Control Panel --> Regional and Language Formats
Under the Formats tab, ensure that English (United Kingdom) or English (United States) is selected.
