I'm Creating a mod for X2 and I have some new files for it.
Futures:
Changing Textures,
Changing Sound effects,
and I'm changing Loading screen
Top and Bottom.
New Loading Egosoft file:Ready
and more will come inside

EDIT: The following reasons why CTD is happening is that the file is 01 file of original 01 file, please read the readme before you install it!

That's cool! so man ý people thing a mod is only then a mod when it contains nice ships, helpful scripts or at least some bug-fixes. But noone (or only least) know how much a new sound-effect and a texture can change!
so no need in knowing modding to bring joy to other players

Yea.But file 00144.dat is 1 gb size and I will need to get a small size of it

there are all speech-files included. that thing is huge and I wonder where you're going to upload that biest

I don't know exactly what you will change, but wouldn't it be better to replace soundtracks? would keep the file-size low

I have used Wave pad and I changed dat to wav and wav to dat and it is 1 gb
