treasure hunt question

ok i have several ships scouting akeelas beacon for the 1 beacon out of 7 that will now spawn Xenon but its just not there. do i have to be IS to find it of will one of my M5 scots be able to locate it?

Not really a tech question.

Try searching well above and below. I was convinced it wasn't there too but it was.

Use at least three ships to comb from side to side the sector on -20 0 and +20 on the vertical axis (y ?) to cover it all. No problem being OOS to find them.
SCUM : They may exceed you in number, but not in value.
