Post by Vortexz »

Please can i have a completely detailed walkthrough on this? I finished the story and now have nothing to do. I need a detailed one, i don't understand any of the acronyms used on this forum...

Thanks.

Go here (it's listed in the sticky):

Once you've built a couple stations and supply them on your own you'll eventually want it to be automatic. If you go the x2 scripting forum you can find out more.

Thanks. I apologise for not realising that this isn't an X2 forum...I haven't been a member for very long. Oh and a side note, Is X3 the reunion worth buying?

This is for all the x games so I think this was the right place to ask. X2 is an older game now, however, and so fewer members will be in a position to help you with advice.

I’d say yes but only because you can pick it up from places like ebay for a few quid, although it will feel more like an add-on - that will be an unpopular comment on here.

The X series of games are the only ones I know where you can be a lawman, trader, mercenary, or empire builder or all of them at once. You can grow a trading empire or own dozens of ships and make raids right into enemy territories for fun and loot. Asking for info about making a empire of any kind is ok, I'm sure, but trying to see what you really want to "be" in the universe is the most important thing.

New games in the future will be even more about having a place to 'call home' when your tired of everyday life and want to sneak away somewhere for a while, having games you can truly feel like you belong in will be better than third person games where they think you all need to feel like god..lol. I look forward to another generation of games even more detailed and immersible than these, but it'll take some work to make it so.
