Is it possible to transfer something from X2 to X3?

Yep. Due to a stuff up involving a mod I had downloaded and patching from 2.7 to 2.7.1, I have been forced to restart. Looking back when I have a trading empire that spans the entire universe and thinking "I built that with nothing but time and hard earned credits" will be rather satisfying.

There is also one for Reunion to TC ,but because the lasers etc were all removed and changed or replaced with new ones,etc.,the transfer does not work so well.
iirc your PHQ becomes an EQ dock,because there is a new plot in TC for gaining a PHQ.

So,what I am saying is ,yes you can go from X2 to X3 Reunion,if you wish,(MODIFIED tag),but X3 TC is better starting new.

Reunion is a much different game than X2. You'll enjoy it a lot more if you don't start out with a massive empire.
