As AI ships re-spawn you shoudl see some BSG ships flying around, but this is not the full conversion mod at the moment. In its current form its main job is to add the various ships to the ship yards so the playing can buy them.

bug report,

This mod is not compatible with " Salvage claim software mk1" script.

software text will be set as SS_WARE_SW_NEW9 in station or equiped ship.

I am assuming the Galactica is done as no one has posted any bugs. Still working on all the others but should be done by the end of the xmas break.

I know this maybe a stupid question (yes I am new!) but what weapons would you recommend and to which positions should I install them?
Obviously I would like the Galactica to be powerful, but also have the battles look rather like the series (I imagine lots of flak for a start...)

Any help for the new guy would be appreciated! (p.s I have searched but couldn't find any loadout recomendations...)

Thanks for your time, and thanks for your work on this particularly killerog! :)

I have no idea as i have never played my own mod for very long and have not played the game for months, too much tweaking to be done :D

Check the old thread if you have not already might be some good info in there.

Haha ok, no worries. Like a film star who doesn't like watching themselves? ;)

I had a search in the old thread but may try a manual flick through and see if I missed anything.

Thanks anyways though, loving your work :)

Edit: If anyone else was wondering like I was, I found from recommendations in the original thread and from experimentations that Gauss cannons on the front and top turrets and cluster flak arrays on the rest seems to work quite well and give a good impression of the tv show.

Merry Christmas!

First(i must apologie my bad english) i want thanks you and your team who create this mod-its wonderful!
But:pegasus is so big(but i like it) and he dock to the HQ fine, but when undock then both-ship and station will be destroyed! But if you dock to the argon shipyard then its ok!
Basestar is wery big(to big)and i tried destroy it with Pegasus and i was near to watch it then its dont work-ships are so big that the will avoiding collision and dont attack each other(ecsept some angels)and then i entered myself to pegasus and then i sucseed to destroy basestar!
What i like moore-that cargo hold is big and to pegasus i can dock even M6,M7(not tried M1 or M2 jet,but i will)!!!
Other words-me like it and if you can shange Basestar and Pegasus collision range then its good.
A... one moore thing-scorpia shipyard is pointles to pig-wery hard to moove Legends Home!
Good luck and sucseed!
Edit-about to dock M1 or M2 to Pegasus ; its possible!
Ship bug-The Deffender - installed all Photons and they dont fireing at all(dont tried others)and i tocked mark VII to hangar and cant undock and to do nothing ,only can give order to Defender via sector map and no moore!Fighter will stand one place and thats it!

have to ask. I dont seem to have a folder that is called director in my egosoft X3:TC directory, could it be my script folder?

Keep up the great work!

Im still using an old 1,5 mod from hawkbs, it working ok, but was beginning to pile up with abit to much READTEXTERROR, so i thought id try this one out.

BTW: Do i need to start a new game? (Im 5000 microchips away from PHQ)

You should not have to start a new game, and yes you should have a folder called director.

Hey,

When I first heard about the BSG mods to x3 I was really excited... until I tried to install them. Unfortunately (although in most cases fortunately :P) I am a mac user, and although I get Killerog's, "enable script editor" type message in game, the mod never actually engages. Any tips on how to make it work? (and I DO have the script editor enabled, so that definitely isn't it)

Thanks,
Doug

in which case you should have the ships at shipyards.

Have you installed any other mods?

No, besides cycrow's cheat scripts I have nothing else installed. I checked the shipyard at argon prime again, still no BSG ships. Also, the mod doesn't appear in the pre-game menu's "Mods" selection tab. I don't know if that is at all relevant. Maybe I'm just checking the wrong shipyards? Where else are BSG ships sold?

If it is not in the pre game menu its been installed wrong. Do you have a folder called Mods in the main directory ? It should have two files in it. If not this is the only reason that will cause the mods not to show up.
