Bah... my condolences. Mine went kaput a few months back and took the power supply down with it. Least decent boards are pretty cheap these days. You can probably pick up a sturdy socket 775 for around $50US. Best of luck.

Make sure your new one has decent space... I bought a new one recently but my graphics card/heatsink ends up blocking my SATA and PCI slots, as well as one of the pin-sets for case mounted USB ports...

Still, I suppose there is a global recession happening

And funnily enough, in the story where you can't use your repair laser...

Anyway, hope your motherboard arrives soon and doesn't have any problems.

(P.S. I noticed the other day your stories always fit a sort of bell curve, you start off with very little, steal/win/cap more and more over time and then most of it gets blown up slowly right near the end, followed by you. Maybe going down this trader / proxy fighter route will be different?)
