Printable Manual for X3 Terran Conflict??

I just bought X3 Terran Conflict from Steam. I found the manual x3tc_manual_us_low_online.pdf. I was hoping to be able to print this manual on my deskjet, however it has a black background and white text.

Is there a printer friendly version of the manual i can print, or am i stuck having to alt-tab out of the game to read the manual?

I did see a download available on Egosoft.com but it does not allow me to download that manual from the website .

You should be able to download the manual. What do you mean it's not allowing you to do so? You could try registering your game but I don't think that's a requirement.

That said, I'm not sure whether it would help you as I don't know whether it's any more "printer friendly" than the one you already have.

seeing as it's bonus material the version from egosoft may be limited to people who've registered their game with the forum, but CBJ could tell you that better than I could

however i've just checked and the version from steam looks identical to the version from egosoft, at first glance at least

As it is currently formatted, it would cost many many dollars in ink to print. That leaves us non-box purchasers without a convenient manual to read. This game is too complex for that. Help! Please produce a manual with dark text and light background! Or maybe give us download-purchasers a cheap way of ordering a printed manual.

I know it will take a FEW minutes, but what is to stop you copying all the text and pasting it into Word? IF this is legal - IF the text colour was wrong you could simply change it then.

Again I repeat IF this is legal. - I do appreciate your dilemma but the ingame encyclopaedia and controls listed should help you a little?

it's probaly easier to just use the alt-tab to access the pdf manual..

the info is easier to get at that way, IMO..

course, you can't beat having a nice shiny manual, and X3:TC's instruction manual is very nicely made..

- isn't there one in the Gold version of the X3 series..??

Oh I have my printed manual from the boxed version, I take it with me wherever I go and stop passers-by to look so they too can share my joy.

I just bought X3 gold from impulse and would love a printable manual without a black background. Maybe this could be a feature request for future versions?
