X3:R player headquarters and traders

I am certain this question has been asked previously, but no combination of keywords I can think of come up with search results containing the answer. And so I will ask here, for lack of a better guess on where to place the question.

How do I keep my universal traders from gathering at my player headquarters to buy or sell goods? They seem to stack up, waiting for me to deposit cash in the station to sell me weapons and parts for ships. Unfortunately there isn't a way to say "Be a universal trader ... except for this place."

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

either drop the prices by a cr at your HQ... or send your Mk3's into a xenon sector

Set the prices for wares that you have at your station that are trying to sell at -1 credit below average and for credits you'd like to have stocked set the price to +1 above average price. I do this for my PHQ and it works fine for me, my UTraders leave my station alone, and the CAGS for my PHQ keep it well funded / stocked as well as well as other races trading with me. Pretty sweet deal it is. Take's some mucking around but after you get it fine tuned, it'll work great for you.

Edit : In addition to the +1 -1 pricing, this works fine for low level goods ( ecells, cloth, wheat ), but for large items ( laser towers / weapons missiles etc ) you'll need to set the price so traders trading with your PHQ can make at least 300 to 500 credits profit or they won't show up.
