X-Online Universe? Myth or what?

Hmmm.... I've been browsing the all-mighty Wikipedia on some ancient Roman stuff (I'm leaving for Rome in a while, them Italians need my bananas )... Strangely I've been lead to a page on space-sim games, some of which are our favorite trilogy X--... Yet under the 'Under Development' there's another interesting game... The X-Online Universe... Yup... Seen that site while browsing for another X database (my previous supplier proved untrustful...) ... That's what actually got me thinking on that topic.......
