Perfect, thank you for quick fix :)
Just to be accurate, i had 5M at station account but on player account only 2.8M so I wasn't charged until I moved credits from station to player account and after that it works normally. But you found it already :) Thanks.

Is there any plans to get this to work with Gazz's complex cleaner?

I will be modifying this script further (hopefully soon, depending on a few things).

As was mentioned by an earlier post (By Moderator - jlehtone) I am planning on adding these changes to the script.

1. Have the script automatically add "x" amount of crystals to the station (maybe 10-20% capacity, not sure on amount as it will require testing and balancing) and automatically remove the fair market cost of those crystals from the player bank account (so its less like a cheat).

2. The above change should also make this script compatible with complexes so their product creation does not dwindle or stop working as time goes by.

3. Possibly add the ability to change the settings of crystal cost etc. via "Cycrows Community Configuration Menu". This way players who want to keep the script the way it currently is (Cost to convert them to being crystal free) can simply change the cost they pay for the crystals to $0 credits and have the added bonus off being able to still use this script on SPP's in complex's. Also those who feel the necessity to pay more for the crystals or less can simply change the amount to what ever they want.

Cheers.

Im sure this script used to work with Gazz'a CC. I did kinda of have it working. I built 10 spaceweed fabs and a SP XL crunched them together but the sp messed up and production was very slow. I then crunch in another SP XL and that 1 worked like it should untill i added 20 more fabs and my 4 XL SPs production dropped to 80 units every 1:30 mins. So there is a way to get it working i might have a play around next time i build a complex.

unfortunately I believe the only way to make this work with any efficiency in a complex is to change the script from removing crystals entirely from spps and instead have the script add "x" amount of crystals to it periodically.

cheers!

perhaps instead use an Freight distribution network?

as long as you place your stuff out of sector (the FDN node has a 4-5 jump range), your stations might as well be crunched.

Also, it has the added bonus of working perfectly with crystal free ssp's

*Update

I've changed my website address (for hosting this script) and updated the broken download link in the original post.

Cheers

Hi,

I've read through this thread and I just want to get a few things straight before I start building in my latest game.

Do the solar plants start causing trouble (low output) when a part of a complex (created with FCC if thats a factor)?

If this is the case, I guess it is safe (output consistant) if I build the solar plant away from my complex and just ship the ecells in?

Thanks

It seems the fix would have to be on the complex cleaner's side. It shouldn't be too difficult to do. The CC uses custom factories, so all it needs is another factory line to accomodate the no-crystal SPPs.

So am I right in thinking that there are only problems with CC and this script, not when using this script with FCC?

In which case I can create a complex with FCC as long as I deploy the SPP and run the command before attaching it to the rest of the complex?

Sorry for the questions, I just like to be sure bfore using a script!

Thanks again

sorry but I can't remember what FCC is. So I have no Clue.

And unfortunately I am still on a lot of pain meds and can't stay focused long enough to make the changes I want to this script so it works with Complexs with out any issues at all. :(

Hopefully this will all be fixed in the next 3 months though.

FCC is factory complex constructor (or something like that) used for precision factory placement.

Thats not the main issue really, I'm just not sure wether it will work in a complex or not.

Its good to know that the next version will work better, but I would probably have got fed up with X3TC and moved onto another game in a few weeks!

Yeah it does work in complexes. the only thing that seems to mess up in is the complex constructer made by Gazz. That one crunches all the stations up into 1 big cube and crystal free SPs get screwed up.

Ahhh, thats good to know!

I don't use the Complex Cleaner, I never play long enough to get really big complexes, only about 20 or 30 factories.

Well I'll get onto it tonight and hopefully building a new complex will take my mind off trying to work out what ship I want to pilot... choices choices!

Wow! This thing is a direct copy and paste of my script (and not "loosely based") of the same name for X3R. He even kept the same language file number according to the script library index. :o

A "thank you" to "anarkis" (sic), no links, no original documentation included. This is somewhat against my terms of use. Even if i apply my TC standards which are much more friendly than the old reunion ones.

Well i could build it again and take back the ownership if you want.
It's not like it's a complicated script or anything to write.

If that's the case SK, I'd say go for it. Additionally, have a moderator verify and remove the current thread's link from the community index.

I always keep the original files of scripts/mods I install so I uploaded it to MU.
