All Split Suddenly Went Red On Me

I was just doing my own buiseness completing terran story missions (just delivered the Aldrin delegation to earth) and went to a Split military outpost to pick up marines, but after i undocked they ALL went red and hostile on me! I can still dock with them and they don't seem intent on killing me but it is extremely worrying.

My Split rank is high, my global commands have Split set to friends (resetting and transmitting to all properties sets them to blue again but only for a few seconds) and unless the plot auto-reds them for the player i can only see this as bug. I have no other ships out marauding through split sectors to cause such widespread hate.

This has happened to me but with Argon, they destroyed my navigation sats (I have no idea why). I can fly around most Argon space but I am not allowed to enter core Argon space.

I have no messages from them to tell me why I can't go in to Argon space.
