[X3:TC 1.2] Bug after aborting mission

I tried a mission to retrieve an abandoned ship. After claiming it and sending it on its way I checked my mission log and the mission had 2 minutes left. From Pluto to Saturn 3 in 2 minutes? wasnt gonna happen. So i decided to abort the mission so I dont take a huge rep hit. After that the ship was still under my control so I sent it towards the shipyard in Saturn to hopefully turn a little profit.

The ship was attacked and destroyed in Uranus. Didnt think anything of it just thought it was the games way of preventing people from abusing the system. After a while i went to Uranus on my way back to Heretics End from the Kuiper Belt. And in Uranus was two Terran police Rapiers and they were red. More police ships came and attacked me.

My guess is that they destroyed the abandoned ship that I claimed from that mission i aborted but they did not disappear after that. They were suppose to disappear right?

There are some terran sectors you cant visit without clearance until you reach certain part of the main quest or something else, what you say sounds like that.

The only places where I went before returning to Uranus and have police shooting me was all systems west of Uranus. And I never got a message telling me to leave at once in any sector on that side of Uranus.

Oh well. Its funny cuz the ATF ships and the Terran military ships dont bother me and its only in Uranus that I get shot at by police ships.

Will the police in Uranus eventually stop trying to frag me?

Well, since you stole someone's ship, and they alerted the authorities, they are on the lookout for you. Happened to me already, and the police have stayed red.
