I decided the Otas TM looked a hell of a lot better than my Helios, so I conducted my first boarding operation on it. This was fun, but it did incur the wrath of the sector police. I commed each ship in turn from the map and apologized.

i considered that the end of the matter until i noticed one ship was red crossing in front of me. this didn't seem right. i brought up the map and he was blue there while still red on screen!

I double checked my Friend-Foe settings but I was friends with split. (C)ommunicating with that ship didn't give any hostile dialogue or let me apologize.

He didn't shoot at me, but going near him did start combat music.

I'm a bit baffled at the moment but no real gameplay impact.

I assume you've tried leaving and re-entering the sector also exiting TC and reloading to see if it was a loading glitch.

Are you modded in anyway either?

I had to chuckle when I saw that... ;)

ahhh, actually i was in a bit of a hurry to defend some of my property against pirates; I haven't been back to the sector yet :oops:

I can't tell if he's back to blue yet because the police blew up my satellite earlier. 8)

No mods, at least not yet. Though I'm pretty sure my game is {modified} anyway because of the steam bug.
