Multi-Display Support on X3TC?
In the main X3tc thread, someone had translated a German interview with Bernd last week or so where he mentioned that we can use up to 3 displays with TC, with the UI scaling across them correctly, etc. Is this functionality in the game, and if so, how would we enable it?

The functionality is automatic if you use software/hardware that creates an extended cirtual desktop across 2 or three monitors. Many GPUs these days have two connectors and will allow two monitors to be attached, and with a Triple Head to Go you can have THREE monitors connected - so long as your GPU can stuff that many pixels out.
Once you have set up the monitors using the 3HTG or GPU menus, TC will detect the expanded display mode and will automatically rescale the output image.

From the interview translation it sounded like a little more than just graphics driver display spanning (Vista doesn't even support that anymore).softweir wrote:The functionality is automatic if you use software/hardware that creates an extended cirtual desktop across 2 or three monitors. With two monitors the benefits are limited. You get a much bigger display area but the crosshair is positioned right on the split between the two monitors. With three screens you get a massively wide view which is a bit like being in the cockpit as you effectively have side views (somewhat distorted, but this can be reduced by lowering the FOV in the options) as well as the normal front view.
