***modified tag***

I just fired up TC for the very first time and I am getting the modified tag right off the bat.

According to the link i posted a explanation of the modified tag is found. Are you playing a normal story profile or a custom game profile. If custom then it will have the modified tag.

also mentioned is that the modified tag might end up if you have not updated your files (patched it) ... as I understood it, might be wrong ...

I did briefly have the ***modified*** issue with the normal starts, but I forced a re-validation of the game files through Steam (as advised by CBJ in another thread) and it seems to have taken care of it. Steam did download a bit of add'l data to my game install during the process.

I did verify the cache files before I booted it up the first time, but I will try it again after I get done raiding.

(God I didn't want to raid tonight after it came out on Steam!)

I didn´t pre-order it earlier today as I figured with the STEAM counter said '1d and 10h left' I would get it from a store tomorrow and not via STEAM ... and then it were release early and I am now sitting here with 98% downloaded and for some reason my connection (or STEAM) decided to put me down from 1.7MB/sec to 250kb/sec ...

agony!
