Script Editor

All,
Is there some website or document that tells you how to use the script editor. I downloaded 5 or 6 interesting scripts and tried to activative them but the menu is a round robin type of affair that brings you back to the same screens multiple times.
I want the "gimme.x.shuttle" script to run so that I can drive the x-shuttle. No luck. I need a step by step instuct guide.

When you are in the scripe editer hilight the script you want to run them press R and then press Null if there are more promps then do what it says.
This works for most script there are a few and I mean very few that you have to select something else.

The script editor is currently an unsupported feature of X2. The documentation is still being written for it, and it was originally intended that access to the script editor would only be revealed once the documentation was ready. unfortunately, it was discovered by the public on their own, so egosoft have done the best they can considering the situation and created a separate forum for the people who want to mess with it before the documentation is published.

So, the only documentation you'll get is fan stuff for the moment. Try http://www.xscripting.com, you might find some useful stuff there

Sigh, all I want is a reference guide of the various commands, with small code samples perhaps.

I feel your pain. I too want to do scripts but when it comes to what commands to use or how to write the context I'm lost. Its probably really really simple and thats why I can't do it.
