Assuming I read the OP correctly, the manual is located with or within the program.

And I did provide a download link, did it not work?

I am getting the same error. I can download everythign else from the site just not the TCE file. Then Rapidshare wants me to sign up to the premium account, saying that their servers are over loaded right now.

I've installed the program and the script creates a Logfile as predicted. However the program only shows Agron prime (Which I've never been to on a BA start) if I enable the filter to known sectors.

I used the X3R and XTM version of this, and they were great, but now I want it for TC.

Does anyone know an alternative download location for this? Firefox can't find suu.design and I'm getting broken link icons for the downloads in the OP.

Maybe it's off topic but, I need help.

The map did work last time I played with the active search.

Yesterday I started my save game again and now the active search doesn't work with it's Hotkey (already tried it with a different key binding)

Edit: It is for X3 TC version 2.5

Good day everyone,

Scorp's map is awesome. I've run into a bit of a problem though. (maybe i'm overlooking something)

I have a laptop with an external monitor.
The map alsways opens full screen.
When I send the map to the 2nd monitor, the map goes there...

However: the resolution of the laptopscreen is 1280X800, the resolution of the external screen is 1920x1200.

The map image on the 2nd monitor is relatively small (1280x800). I can't seem to resize it.
Also the map won't start on the second monitor and I can't persuade the laptop to see the external screen as "main/1st"

So my questions:
- can the map be resized?
or
- can the map be opened on the 2nd monitor (ini file?)

I've looked in the registry, but there doesn't seem to be a setting which decides where the program starts (or in what resolution).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It worked fine for a while but now when I hit the hotkey it just comes up with a blank box withs ACE's something or other written on it.

It doesn't DO anything any more.

I realise its not your script but I can't find any other info on it.

Whould simply uninstalling the scrrpy and reinstalling it work?
If so how would you go about it, I've never removed a script before!

@ jonnyincognito: It is the price you pay with the scripted default for keeping an actual game progress interactive map that is current and accurate. Read the first 3 posts on Page 1 of this thread.

I read the first page of posts. With another 34 pages of posts and the age of this program I hoped that maybe at some point it being ***modified*** changed! Ah well, I guess I can't have everything! Thanks for the heads up.

If you don't feel the need to update more than say once every day or two,
(or even less, like me),
then you could always keep a seperate X-install dir soley for Scorp's map.

So long as you don't save when running the game from there,
you won't get the modified tag.

Worked this out, when you run the script it brings up the last list of ships you searched for.

If you searched for an especially rare ship and there are NO examples of that ship in the universe the above happens.

Script is then useless until another ship of that type spawns, once it does it works normally and you can then change the search options and set it to something else.

Lesson learned: NEVER leave the last searched ship as an especially rare one!

First of all: great tool!

I only have one suggestion... make the tool "movable" I use multiple monitors and would love to have the tool displayed on one screen, X3 on another. As of now that's not possible, because it's always maximised on my Main Screen, as is X3...

You can switch the map to the 2nd screen with the "2nd" button.
