And a PS: I've followed the instructions but X2 crashes immeadietly after I launch the script editor. any ideas?

Yes Windows can be lazy, so it's best to cut them out, to avoid potentianl problems, and make restoring you original game easy.

If you are still having problems make shore you are updated to 1.4 it will say so in the game startup pop up box and, on the main in game menu.

if you are still, still having problems you can try to reinstall X2, and update it to 1.4, and try running my mod again.

And don't install any bonus pack, and you need to select the mod before clicking start, and you can't do the training missions anymore.

is there any way to make this compatible whith some of the newer scripts
like markspatroll 2.1b marks wingcommand 2.1b Xia AI 3.12m beta

Thanks for trying my mod.

As for adding newer scripts you should go to the X2 Community Plugins sticky, and get the X2 Script Conflict Report program v1.12 and try to add in the scripts you want.

New 05 .cat\.dat

I uploaded this to my mod download page look for the last post.

This is Just a little eye candy replace 05 .cat/.dat and you will get the organic mod reactive shields, and comet, and my new dark blue low frame rate Ecliptic Projector grid.

No restart needed.

Have fun :)

PS I'm working on updating my mod I want to add Harlocks new bridges, and cockpits, and I'm working on adding new type 32 bullet guns, and beefing up the combat challenge... It will be awhile still, so enjoy the new 05 .cat\.dat for now.

If so then this may be the MWM sound problem. I don't remember what the problem was you may just need the mov\00044.xml, and the map from the MWMSoundPatch from The Commanders Space Station.

The crash was a mistery to me till I got a newer PC, and some info on the old TGM mod page that v.bodies from 1000 to 7999 will cause this :o

My bullets use this range just re-number them in the v folder , and use the new numbers in Tbullets.

The new v2 mod is still not ready yet, if I had a dev stite I would put up a Alpha, but ShadowTek gone :evil:

ER Hyland Great mod but I have a fresh install everything seems fine but the gates dont have any nacelles or the ring, the gates work but look like little cloud bursts of electricity not sure why any ideas?

Hope your still working on a V2 :)

The Gates in my mod were dimensionally shifted to stop gate destruction by the Goner's, so what you see is nebula gas, and electrical discharge formed around the event.

And as I like to kill Xenon by the gates this is a good thing, and there is no ship size limit in my mod too.

The weekend has come and gone, and no feedback :?

1.5b is the update for now, and do to my current situation v2 isn't comming any time soon.

1.5b is a massive improvement, and I would like to know if all my hard work is working right, and is the combat challenging enough :?:

And you can use the simulator with this new verision. Note: You do have 4 guns well 5 if you count the turret PAC, you need to load the 2 alpha IRE's, as the sim only loads the 2 alpha HEPT I would suggest HEPT, IRE, IRE, HEPT, and the PAC turret set to missile defence.

So how it all working, looking, playing, etc...

Just suggestion:
Maybe you can edit first post and write little bit different mod description and add mod screenshot gallery also.
Write mod feature list - what are add into the mod and what was changed.
I think problem has with first mod post - he is too long, there are too many description, maybe therefore some pilots can't realy understand whole mod features.

Thanks for the suggestion, but the old info is needed, and the new info has 1.5b on it, I don't really see a problem, and as for screenshots, the mod is 22mb, and I don't have a computer to run X2 on.

1.5b is a update, a big update, but it's not P X D, or Pandora big.

So if no one wants to see my:

New type 32 guns.
New bullets bodies.
New missiles.
New explosions.
New cockpits, and (bridges (with people)).

Ship updates.
Script updats.


Then O'well :shock:

First post is really too long. Mb you should make some spilers there and use some text colors? I rly like new cockpits and bullet types so I want to see how you make them.

started from scratch earlier today and since I don't cheat it will be awhile before I can get to the good stuff. I love the warp tunnel affect. I will let you know what I think of the new weapons when I finally get them :) .
over all it is still a great mod :D
