**merged with respective script thread, as per S&M forum posting rules**
How did you install the script? If it's via the Plugin Manager, you have to uninstall the script there too or set the Plugin Manager to Vanilla mode. Otherwise the Plugin Manager will copy the script files to your "scripts" folder again. If you installed the script manually, delete the whole "scripts" folder from your game directory and let Steam download it again. When uninstalling through Steam, only the original game files will be deleted. Additional ones (provided through scripts and mods) usually remain.

Cycrow's Script Manager (or one of the shortcuts it creates) should have the option to extract an .SPK file. If you extract the script, you should end up with 2 folders called 'scripts' and 't' (there may also be some others like 'readme' or something similar).
Now look in your X3 installation folder, you should find the same folders, copy the new files into the matching folder in your game installation directory.

Re: [SCRIPT] Salvage Network 2.8 [08.11.08]
What about the posibility to find sectors with NIVIDIUM debris (or asteroids) like in x3ap.The.All.Seeing.Eye script?

Hi there,
There is an option "Find best Asteroid to mine" that will display details (type/yield) of asteroids, but only for sectors in which the player has a ship/station/satellite.
If you are specifically after Nividium, you can also breakdown any captured Xenon and Kha'ak ships to get some!
Hope that helps!

Thankyou.
Yes is good.
But will this command find also debris?
In x3ap.The.All.Seeing.Eye script it was a command who shows the value of all asteroids in a sector.
From that it was very easy to understand what sectors have nividium (debris or asteroids)

No.
I mean NIVIDIUM debris.
For those i only need a ship with good shields to grab them.
No need for MINERAL DRILL weapon to crush asteroid.

I've checked and have found that I already wrote a script to locate and display rock (debris) counts and values, it shouldn't be a problem to add it to the "Find Best Asteroid to mine" command.

I'll see what I can do, but it may be a while as I'm still working on the SCS scripts (Salvage Network for X3TC, AP and FL) which is a much larger version of this script.
