Good job modders... This is an awesome Mod... :) Really useful.

I noticed this too...
If you have the previous version of Ashley's fabs (2.3 XTM compatible)...you should uninstall 2.5 then install 2.3...launch the game... go to Akeela's Beacon after you have received the message that Ashley's fab xxl updated or installed. Shipyard will be created... now exit the sector... (go to Aladna Hill east gate) and save your game at that point...
Exit the game and uninstall 2.3 mod and install 2.5 again and launch the game and load the save game... Go to Akeela's beacon and you will have a v2.5 Argon Ahleys' SY with a buyable PHQ.

Or you could activate the script editor and run the script ('ash.force.reset.XXL).

I did the first method coz I didn't want to activate script editor in my game... :roll:

Modified tag is something that I don't bother about...
It's the script editor that I didn't want to be enabled in my game :P

Could this be why my complex is not producing Teladiannium even though I've hooked an XXL fab to it? It's not just without resources, it just doesn't show up in the list of products being produced... If it's too hard then don't worry about it. Just silly that my grand resource complex now manufactures every single resource except Teladianium :p

EDIT2: not so straightforward it seems, as my epic leet adjustments did bugger all apparently. Will have to wait for a fix :)

hello

i must say this is a most welcomed mod.. wish i had discovered it prior to building my massive factory complex..

the ashleys part is functioning correctly.. and i must say nice nice mod..

however..

the extended mods part isn't..

i install the extended hub i buy from the shipyard... and when i link 2 stations with it... i get the same station display as a normal construction kit.. and it serves the same purpose?

i can't dock TL's here nor any other capital class vessel..

i really need this as i have 2 major complexes (one containing mines, and one that does not)

and i need a TL to travel between the two..

there is just toooooo much volume at my complexes for TS's to accomadate.. im getting CTS from controlling 20 of them

any help is aprpeciated

Once their in a complex, the scripts can't touch the factories. You'd have to use a save before you incorporated them into a factory.

The reason for this, is its the game engine that creates the 'complex' product/resource lists. And it bases what goes onto that list from what the factory has. Once their complexed, the engine ignores them.

Donno if anyone mentioned it allready, or if its still being updated. But i noticed that the Nividium mines L, XL and XXL were all the same price at the argon shipyard in akeelas beacon. That cant be right :).

Everything seems to be working correctly for me but the XXL solar factory only requires energy cells as a resource instead of crystals etc. Is that the way it is supposed to be? If so can I change it? I do nto want to "cheat" I just wanted access to the larger factories and mines.

Couple of simple questions

Nividium mine: Why doesn’t it attach to the nividium roid in Rolks Fate? Its happy attaching to one of the ore roids in that sector but doesn’t acknowledge the presence of the nividium roid.

Alpha Kyon forge: Where did the resources list come from = energy, crystals, microchips ? Is this defined somewhere by Egosoft or just made up for the mod?

Those rocks are quest generated, and not listed in the Galaxy Map as being true gravidars.

Plus, I think Egosoft purposly flagged them as 'unminable' unless you blow them up. :D

Please, could really use some help here. The argon ashley shipyard in akeelas beacon was destroyed by some khaak ship, and it doesnt look like it will respawn.

I tried uninstalling the script and reinstalling it again, but nothing happens. The shipyards in the other 4 sectors are still there (they never even got removed when i uninstalled the script), but the one in argon space, akeelas beacon, hasnt been readded....

Any tips or hits would greatly be appriciated.

'Uninstalling' the scripts does NOT mean the objects will be removed or recreated.

Go into Options, then Gameplay, and see if there's an Artificial Life setting for the Ashleys stations mod. If there is, turn it off, and wait a game hour for things to be shut down.

Then you can turn it back one and it should check for and restore stations.

There are no options to turn the script/mod off in the settings, so guess that was a dead end... There has to be someway i can get the station back though....

Need help with missing station

Hi, i am using the script/mod Ashleys Factories. And one of the shipyards, the argon one in Akeelas beacon, got destroyed be khaak ships. I have tried everything i can think of to get the station back, but without luck. This means i cant buy the XXL spacefuel factories....since the argon ashleys fab was the only one selling it. I have posted in the relevant thread, but nobody seems to check that very often..

Please, does anyone have any idea how i can get that station back?

Use LVs cheats to spawn it back? Not sure if that will work.

Tried some of the cheats, but they don have the ashleeys factories in them.....

Thread merged, If you read the first post in this thread ashley clearly states how to get in touch with him, As it's his mod he is the best person to answer.

Also new posts in addition to an existing post are prohibited in the rules but as I'm in a good mood today i'll let you live.

thx LV, tried to post in the relevant thread first, but after a coupel of days with no answer i decided to make a new one. have sent Ashley a PM on the other forum, so hopefully he will reply there.
