Ok I extracted the package and made a fake patch...
and the mod runs with the ships^^

EDIT: Damn, the mod runs but all factories like the Complex Hub Kit and the Complex Node Bazzar are displayed as "ReadText - (number)"
what can I do to fix this problem?

Sorry, I probally didnt notice the edit...

Your missing the text file 8400. I will assume your running under German, and I have to admit I lost the german translation of the 8400 text file.

Currently the package only has the english 8400. Theirs two things to do, translate the file. Or change the ID code of 44 to 49. If you change the ID code make sure you have this line within the 448400 text file "<language id="44">". to 49 of course.

If I can find the 498400 I shall send it to you after I fix it up as I changed text ID's since I think it was translated.


Edit : Their is now a german compatible text file for your use on the download post : http://after-domination.net/phpbb3/view ... 1078#p1078

This will need placed into the /t folder after extraction.

hm... or could it come from renameing the .cat and .dat-files?
because as i had installed as a normal mod the english texts were displayed...

no
it doesn't run with the german text file...
for the complex hub is "ReadText17 - 11505" displayed and for the node bazzar "ReadText17 - 11493"
and the german file has other id numbers as the english

look at my other post... i renamed your mod files into 11.cat and 11.dat and moved them into the X³-main folder to make a fake patch.
could it be that the mod files don't find the script files now?

hey all i am trying to get this script to work with the xtm mod. i am using the latest version of everything as this is a new install. i get nothing for a short period then a message saying that the scripts didn't install correctly.

I also have a problem. I've installed the latest version of your mod(2.5 I think) which is compatible with XTM. Now, the Extended Complex Hub and Complex Node Bazaar have appeared in all the shipyards in the game, however there is no sign of any of the new L, XL, and XXL factories in any of the shipyards.

I am using Cycrows Plugin installer to add the mod to my game, and I got the message about the mod being installed or updated correctly. Everything seemed fine, until I began to realise that there were no new factories. Any help would be greatly appreciated, cheers.

That should be the case. The ECH and CNB are available at all SY's within X3 that have been located at install.

My fabs however (L, XL, and XXL) are only located at the SY's designated in the readme. Which tells you where to find them. :)



I will catch up on this thread with installation issues as 2.5 rolls around the corner and I check compatibilitys.

Right, so there will be one new shipyard for every race in a random sector which contains all the XL fabs. I must have interpreted the readme wrong, I thought they were added everywhere. Thanks for your fast reply, and merry Christmas.

hey ummmm sorry to alarm you but it turns out that it was just a bad install of the mod everything is working perfectly now. well i think it is have;t had a chance to build a major complex yet but shall do so in the next few weeks

Same with me. I'm running the latest version of the xtended mod.
I'll give it a shot, when you open up the X3 window with Start X3 and Screenshot Folder options, press the button Select Mod Folder. When you open that it should have the 'PluginManager' and 'Ash.Fabs.ExtHub.XTM.2.5'. Select Ahsleys Fabs and press OK. Now Start X3 and after a minute or so you should get the message about it being installed correctly.

If however, you are using the Plugin Manager to have other scripts etc in your game, then you will have to use the Plugin Manager to use Ashleys mod as well. It has been a while, but I'll try to give you a little rough guide.

When you open AshleysFactories&ExtendedComplexHubsXTM-V2.5-15.11.2007.spk you should be asked about creating a mod profile for it, press yes. Then in Cycrows plugin manager, select the tab Mod Profiles. Here you should see Ashleys Factories etc... and Vanilla Profile. Click Ashleys once, then press the Activate Profile button just below.

Fire up the X3 menu, and instead of selecting Ashleys in the Select Mod Folder, select the PluginManager then press OK. Start X3 and after a minute you should get the message about it being installed or updated correctly. I hope this works for you, if not, you'll just have to wait for Ashley him/her-self.

As for the German text stuff, can't help you, sorry man.

Not quite that easy. Especially when the mod you want to use it with uses the Factories.txt file too. Conflicts happen.

You have to merge the data from the Ashley mod to your chosen Mod's Factories.txt file, or vice versa, depending on how you got it set up.

Well, thats what I tried with XTM and a few other minor scripts. Worked fine. Just want to give them something to try, might work, might not, but its better than nothing ;)

Thanks so much for providing us such a great mod! The contribution and generosity is very appriciated and will not be forgotten.

I'm really looking forward the version that pays 10X of station cost to remove the resource needed in station in the future. That will definately be dream-come-true!!

I also wonder if you have plan to release XXL factories which currently only offer XL version in the future?

again, I really enjoy this mod and I am very thanksful for everything you did!

I downloaded this and installed it properly and I'm in Argon Prime and the ship yard not only disapeared, but I cant dock to it and I just see a small box as if It was an m5 that was invisible and I can pass right through it. Is this normal or is their a problem i need to fix?

Hi everyone,

First, wanted to say that this mod/script rox. Congratulations.

But i have a big problem, i am using it with XTM Mod and i can't find the XXL Argon shipyard in Akeela's beacon at all. Finally, is it really in this sector ? I wonder. (I've found other ones)
