I think this is PROBABLY a bit late down the line, but here's an idea:

The top and bottom turrets face up and down respectively. This is due to their "position".

We've got guns for the front (by pilot), left and right turrets, have no use for rear, and no use for bottom.

Take the turrets on the top and put them into two seperate groups. The front section (facing forward) should go to "Forward" turret section (move Forward away from where the pilot guns are). Take the were-rear turrets and put them as the second (rear-facing) top turrets.

Take the top-turrets, use a smaller gun mesh, and line them along the main body facing upwards. I'd personally probably use those for Flak.

Take the bottom turrets, also with a smaller mesh, and line them along the bottom of the ship, or along the pods. This will get rid of the awkward-facing turrets as they are now, provide a more canon feel, and still maintain balance, allowing players to use the Galactica as a broadside or direct battleship as it is meant :)

Just my opiinion and I apologize for wall of text, but just throwing in last-minute stuff

Well the fix I asked for is working so I can keep the missions and race stuff I have made with out having to change that.

Only problem now is I am away the weekend and I have friends over all today so maybe it wont be this weekend. But I promise that when I do get some free time and I am in front of my pc/laptop I will get around to release the first version.

X3:AP only (needed for some of the game engine changes)
New ship models
New mission(s)
New scripts allowing you to maintain your fleet using just BSG ships
New textures
Plus a few things I have most likely forgotten about.

First version out will be an early beta but will show off some of the new features and models so I can get feedback and ideas from you lot.

AP only ? Hmmm, wont be able to complete the merge mod then, which never got working BSG ships.

I'm still hanging out for a fully working Pegasus. :D

You might be bale to use the ships and there files from this new version in the merge mod. I need to use AP for the changes to the missile code etc.

ahh well its a shame its ap only i use tc who knows perhaps some soul can take a look at makeing them into a .xsp for us mere mortals lol great work on getting her running m8 and i hope the models i passed to you help out i have since made them unobtainable (they are very safe tho)
with a lil luck i might stumble across an x3tc cygness and banshee class ....
ps: stiff want me to have a bash at some more cylons?

Is there a version yet where the ships are complete and fully functional ?

All would be nice, but the Battlestars if only they are done.

I'm not real concerned about anything else.

Technically this mod's ships are "complete and fully functional" but some of them with graphic errors (basestar's graphics are eye-wrecking and stomach-renching). What we're waiting on now is just the Albion-Prelude conversion, and all the changes that will come with it.


Which brings me to: Also killerog: I'm trying to figure out how to change names and properties, but I'm running into a lot of ReadText errors. Trying to find a workaround, but my last TC launch all the Colonial ship names were ReadText

Any chance I can just get a copy of tships and tcockpits ?

All I really want to do at this point is replace the ships in the TC Merge Mod and get that finished at last. I'm far enough along with the AP AMS mod that I can move onto the MM for a time without any issues.

The other thing I'd like to do is get Pegasus into my personal game so I can suss it out as a command carrier. I'm a bit sick of using an M2 as a carrier, but with no actual docking ports. :D

So as I wont be using any of the guns or anything else in the mod, just the 2 files is all I think I need.

Possible ?

@apricotslice not yep. Hopefully in the next version or two most of the battlestars will be working fine.

No Download Link for Files

Hi Peeps.

I've been away quite a while dealing with "life." Sorry about that. My system got nuked a few months back and I wanted to get my BSG up and running again. But I went to Killerog's website and discovered there is no download link for the files. It appears to be missing from the bottom of the page.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is there anywhere else I can go to get the latest files for X3TC?

I'm having problem claiming the flattop and pegasus. When I approach them, they stay blue. Also when I start on battle star galactica game start I get no message saying the mod has been installed. I am playing Albion perlide. Anyone got any ideas to my problem?

When I load your mod in battlestar galactica game start. I don't get the message saying this mod has loaded. Also when I carry on playing I cannot claim flattop and pegasus. They are blue unlock galactica and valkarie? Got any ideas why? I am playin Albion prelude version of game.

There is a bug in the script preventing you from claiming them at the moment.

I fixed it on the mode I've sent you!

But...

I've been playing the mod and I've fixed some more things...(in my mod for now)

-Pegasus now fires the top and bottom guns, It was'nt happenig before.
-The Cylon fleet is now spowning periodically, That was'nt happening before.(a little buf on the sript. thr cue name).

What is still not working and I don't know why yet, is...
The scripts of flattop for repairing ships (i Think there's a script missing on your downloadable mod)
The script for the restock stations.
