I also think it's cool that Egosoft guys are pledging for SC. Shows good sportsmanship and genuine enthusiasm for the genre.

BTW, "Vice Admiral" is $500 AND UP (changes to High Admiral at $1,000 I think).

I'm a Vice Admiral too, but I'm afraid I'm way past $500, lol.

And smart business sense. More people talking about SC means more people talking about how few games of this sort exist, which means more people pointing to the X series. It works after SC's release, too. People aren't going to play that forever, you know, but they might want to play something in the same genre - which takes them right to Egosoft's doorstep.

Unless the market gets so saturated with "space sim" games that the games are coming out faster than people can play them, this should stay true.

Cool vid (the controller demo). Was that song from the game's soundtrack? I like it. I know it wasn't coming directly from the game, since there were cuts in the video while the music kept going, but I'd like to know if that's representative of the game's aural experience.

Also... dat plant... seriously... you guys need to postpone this game another year and get that worked out.

I saw the guy with gun there and ability to open hatches is also strange (as well as jumping) for a "peaceful mode". Are we going to have some action on stations and maybe other ships as well? That will be a Parkan style game for a change!

Really cool, great work guys, thanks for video! Finally stations are something worth to explore.

Video clearly shows that there are still some things to polish - explosions are very similar to each other and "debris" looks like very sprity. Tree is weird, too. But hopefully this (as similar small things) won't take too long! =)

Yes the music is 100% X rebirth soundtrack, and I can't wait till i get my hands on that, it would be really nice if Alexei can release that song on his sound cloud, it's already public but i just want to listen to it by itself.

I was reading this thread every day for two years.. Two times every day I was checking new posts. So many various emotions, opinions and expectations was posted by many-many pilots. At last yesterday I saw new video.. That was like a brilliant lightning in dark skyes.. That is just B E A U T Y.
