That's fine - can probably work out the extra commands by logic/playing with them, but how about extra flags, objects to work with, etc. Sounds like you're saying I'm out of luck.

there is no guide that i know of that deals with the new stuff, the best is to just ask in the forums if your not sure

theres agood chance that some one will have used the commands and can tell you how to use them.

there are a few posts in the tutorials about some of the new features, like using the BBS

I can't enable the Script Editor, no matter what I do. I open up the menu, press on Pilot, press Rename and enter 'Thereshallbewings', with a capital T, not docked to a station, and it simply won't start! No little sound, no menu closing, and the name changes to the code. Can someone please help?

This normally happens when you mistype the code, people will normally forget the second l in shall so double check thet you wrote it correctly.

best thing to do is type it slowly, otherwise it ight not register evry key.

also make sure u use shift+t and not caps lock

Hi All

When I try to activate the script editor it keeps changing my name to
Thereshallbewings and not leaving it the same as before. It never seems to work.

Does it matter when you activate the script editor, ie at the start of a game or any time.

Hmm. I have typed "Thereshallbewings" correctly beyond a shadow of a doubt and in the right place. I had type it and retype it, undocked and docked eventually it enabled. I can't get it to open from any bound key though I have to go in through the command editor, is this normal?

Is this due to the update or has no one else had this problem. I just can't get the script editor to open

the code only enables the script editor, not opens it.

if you dont type the code, then u wont even be able to find the script editor listed in the menus

Is the current pilot name the default of Julian?

I was having this problem so I changed the pilot name back to Julian and then typed in Thereshallbewings. This time it worked fine.

I've just come back to the game after 2 years away.

I downloaded the latest patch (2.002 only took 1.45 hours ) and I've followed the instructions to get the script editor working. no go.

I remember ya use to enable it by typing in space, tried that didn't work, (may have been X2) looked up the sticky, AH change name, OK tried that still didn't work.

Should I try reloading the game enabling the editor, then appling the patch ?

Or is there something else I need to do ?

just try again make sure you had 2xl Thereshallbewings i've missed one a few times

GZ read the rules and the first posts in the stickies please, there are specific rules where posts go on here especially cheat requests (your locked thread yesterday) and activating the SE questions.

Profile?? do you mean the Pilot name??
You have to change the Pilot Name.
