Egosoft are only a small company, about 7 peeps I believe, so they prob. don't have as much web space as some other publishers.

But Hey! Egosoft hurry up & get bigger so we can use your web space. :)

Yeah why not. I've just added folk.robherbert.com to my DNS (it'll take a few hours to propagate) and I'll bung 'em on there.

Email me at folk@robherbert.com . Things won't go up immediately as this is my home machine and I have to go to work (curse!), but it shouldn't take too long.

All members of F.O.L.K. can use this address to put their avators.

folk@robherbert.com

But please keep within respectable limits 50kb max & only 1 per member.

Any missuse of this site will have consequences!

this is also the link you need to put in your account at www.egosft.com for our logo when finished.

Thanks go to RPEH :D

RP - I meant RPEH. Was late and I was half asleep at me PC innit. :)

Stayed up playing with my nice shiny new Mammoth. My first TL. What a lovely toy. Can't believe I've spent months placing well over a hundred factories without my own TL! This makes life so much easier. I'm such a banana.

:)

Some rhyming slang is more common than others. Ruby I hear quite a lot, porkies is another common one and not just in London, China is slightly more old-fashioned cockney, Tit'fer, Apple, Berk, Trouble, Danny and many others are all common ones I've heard spoken regularly.
The others I've only come across in a jokey kind of way, or read in books/magazines.

Tit'fer = Tit for Tat = Hat
Apple = Apples and Pears = Stairs
China = China Plate = Mate
Berk = Berkely Hunt = A very rude word :)
Porkies = Pork Pies = Lies
Trouble = Trouble and Strife = Wife
Ruby = Ruby Murray = Curry
Battle = Battle Cruiser = Boozer = Pub
Danny = Danny LaRue = Clue (as in "you haven't got a danny mate")
Britney = Britney Spears = Cheers

Chelsea huh ?! My my very nice. :)

I went to Kingston Uni 13 or 14 years ago, and have stuck around the same area every since really. Bought a flat a couple of years ago nearby in Wimbledon area.

Am looking to move away from London though, maybe next summer. Traffic and commute to work and stuff is starting to grind me down.
