My turrets are finding their targets fine (I usually use bean lasers), the thing is that the damage is negligible, so, it looks like they are not even there.

Yeah, what I do is just click on the Add Wares and hit Enter. That way is faster, but still a nuisance.

Teleporting to a different sector seems to get rid of the lag for me.

The ships are only getting bottle necked in-sector, so when you change sectors everything is fine for a limited time depending on which sector and what the AI is doing.

This seems only to happen, when the player is in the vicinity. I tried to get one of my ships to follow me, and it got stuck. Then I left the system, gave the order again, and this time it worked.

I am finding 20-30 ships sitting idle in some sectors (mainly traders) as well as docking and un-docking issues at stations with the A.I, the whole game is gradually grinding to a halt, FPS is gradually lowering as time goes on.. ironically this is only 8 hours into a 1.50 save.

I hope they don't push 1.5 live, its a train wreck in its current state.. worse than 1.0.

perhaps ego need to hire some more talented programmers to sort this thing out, the A.I is hopeless.

I saw various mods that fix the problems with the turrets, in nexus mods web. I tried and are really good!!

Turrets gain is the name of one of the few mods that fix that issue, you can find it in nexus mods website

Thanks for the Tip, I saw that but I'm trying to keep vanilla for now. That way I can report the problems as they come and hope the devs fix the issues (as this is clearly an issue). If they do not, later on I start using them.

I just noticed beta 1.5.2, gotta go try it.

Also disabled Nvidia sound drivers to see if performance gets better!
