0.97b - No restart req:
- Task Guard Sector: load fighter bug fix

Good grief Litcube, you never stop! :D

I'm still considering ideas for the text used on startup/shutdown for the Corp. You'll get some content soonish, but real life events and an increasingly irregular sleeping pattern may cause some delays.

Update:

0.98b - No restart req:
- Fixed a signals bug. Signals may not be set properly until your next generation. You might not even notice.
- Task Trader: Further optimized trading.
- Priority for TS ships higher now, the higher the generation.
- Set smaller missile loadout for M8s

I assume you're asking me. The only feedback I've received thus far is tweaks to balance, and more options. I haven't had a single bug report yet, which is good news.

Can anyone provide any feedback, good or ill, to who ever is using this?

Hi Litcube,

Thanks for this amazing script :)

Im on my fourth game day now and have seen quite a few of phanon traders going around.From what i can see the faction are very like the player in that they start out slowly and then seem to expand very quickly.

I jumped in their sector and left an adv sat just inside the gate.about a minute later i had 3 tomahawks heading for me :D

My main base is in savage spur and i would love to see these guys come after me.

1 question :- Will the faction actively search for my assets and attack them at any stage? would be great to see that gaurdian shark rolling into savage spur and giving me a run for my money :)

will keep this game going for couple of weeks and report my findings...

Not 1 bug so far...

Thanks for the report, Maddox.

Yes, once the subdidiary has a solid foundation, they will purchase M6s and M7s. These ships are only scheduled to be tasked as "Hunters". Hunters will actively search the Universe for your property. They are always escorted by at least 2 of fighters, and won't debark until they have at least two escorts. M7s have been seen with up to 25 escorts; really depends on The Phanon's fighter reserves at the time.

You probably won't see that many with TandiTech (maybe 1 a day), as they don't have the money muscle just yet.

Uhh.. You might have problems. The T file is only for language 44. If you rename it to the German lanugage number, and change the language ID in the T file, it will work.

If someone offers to translate, I will include the German version.

Just 1 more question if i may :- Will they take over other unknown sectors as well ?

I only ask because i would like to use Trikmovs STO 123 along with this script but am worried about breaking something...

Again Thankyou for this awesome script.IMO ALL the corps should be like Phanom... :lol:

i renamed the t-file from 8384-L044 to 8384-L049, but i cant find out how to change the language ID with x3 editor

I mean will they build more bases in other unknown sectors as they expand or do they stay based in the starting sector?

They will expand, but by way of building stations around the Universe to a ratio of 8% of M5s, if I remember correctly. A "Sales" agent is tasked to each station built to maintain resources and sell products.

If you want to tango with a sector guardian, try attacking one (station). :)

Incidentally, I believe they only build in Commonwealth owned sectors.
