One thing I wanted to ask before I start messing with the files: would it be possible to have just the corp missions from TC in AP without any map changes and with AP plots still intact? I think I can even see the MD files for it in AP but apparently some vital part that actually triggers those missions is missing.
EDIT: I got the following files from the package and they appear to provide the corp missions.

I hope I didn't miss anything :) The biggest mystery is why ES actually removed those missions from AP. They even show up on the virtual file system in X3 editor but apparently the game doesn't pick them up inside CAT but picks them up just fine if you just copy them to addon/director.

Update:

1.2 Fixed Corporation Missions so Argon Corporations no longer give other Argon corps. as assassination targets.

The Corporations should work fine as stand alone, if you're using the original TC ones then 2.44 Plutarch.xml needs adjusting to account for their new location.

The version with this mod takes that into account, and also fixes the missions not continuing if the HQis destroyed.

If you want to run them from within the CAT then the file names need to be added to mdfiles.txt (in the director folder) so the game knows to read them.

Everytime i start a new game there is an abandoned Kha'ak intercepter next to my starting ship. Is this intentional? I don't have any other mods installed.

abandoned ships are random in vanilla AP.

Well, everytime it's there for me. Doesn't seem very random.

Strange thing was that I just restarted USC Commander after replying,and had a Kha'ak fighter right in front of me ! :o

They apparently do and I am using your version because of the fixes you made. I am trying to take your mod apart and get everything I can use on the original AP map from it. I think treasure hunt should work as well, Final Fury probably not because of Kha'ak sectors missing.

That explains why those missions show up on VFS but don't get triggered.

One more question - what files are responsible for M6 undocking fixes? This is another thing I would like to use.

I've finished maybe 3 TC plots and after finding this mod I'd like to continue the TC story while benefitting from the AP fixes.

So my question: if I start by playing this mod and then move on to do the AP plots proper, am I gonna basically spoil any exploration or surprise AP is supposed to offer?

Of course the best thing would be if this mod offered TC plots followed by AP plots in one seamless experience. But maybe that's asking for a bit much :P. And even if it eventually does, I imagine there might be problems upgrading from this version of the mod to the version that does.

If you do not know what the AP plots offer,and you don't route around for the goodies in the files and or read the spoilers,then there are one or two nice things to wait for.

However, there is not a stock exchange in TC which is in AP.
Apart from that,yes it is like playing TC with benefits

When i use the plotmanager to finish the terran plot, i don't get any rewards. It spawnded the vidar in mars, but didn't turn over control and it wasn't claimable.

I had a similar problem with the Hub Plot ...

ended up with the Enhanced Dolphin docked at the Hub but not turned over to me.

I got round that by waiting until I had the gates set,and used Cycrow's Cheat Package.
Destroyed the Hub,which left the ED for claiming.

Downside was that I could not change the gate settings after replacing with another Hub.

Added a few more scripts and things which caused save game incompatibility, so restarted and working the plots without the plot manager ,for now.
I will use it for the ANH / BoP plots though :D

I've found the problem with this - it uses one of the new Aldrin sectors as a reference point for one of the ship spawns, which doesn't exist at game start in this mod, so uses the default which is the player sector...
Will fix it for next version.

You won't be able to continue your TC game in this AP version of TC Plots, you will need to start a new game.

You won't be able to move onto the 'AP plots proper' with this mod. They are disabled, you would need to start a new AP game to play them.

Eventually there will be versions of the AP main plot and AP Terran plot for this, but they need time for altering testing etc... The AP Hub and PHQ won't be added as the TC ones are already there.

I can confirm this for the Terran plot, I finished it using the non-pay option, and visited several times all the terran sectors except those beyond Uranus, as well as Heretic's End: zero rewards.

Used pay for option.
left and return twice to make sure.
ED docked and listed white with a pilot.

I completed the plot via the manager, went to mars and saw the vidar. It didn't have a pilot but it wasn't claimable. Shooting my repairlaser at it turned the sector hostile.

Question: Is it possible to just use the Cooperation quests from this pack with AP? As i AP plots and all that + Corp plots. If so, I humbly ask what files I need to extract for that to work.

I've extracted 1.40 and 2.41+2.48, but that didn't seem to work :)

Additionally,your first all plots financial left the Ozias as board-able.

This no longer seems to be the case if you just do the plot without using your plot manager.

Not tested it with the plot manager.

Found the Aran with first use of UFJD the time round.
Capped it on second attempt. :D
