I don't think most people are anti multi-player. Most people are anti MMO. And any form of multi-player takes about the same amount of development (a lot!) and without it being MMO (and therefore subscription fees) there is no guarantee of cash return for the extra development...

But that's very OT since this is a thread about v3.1 update, not TNBT...

I'm getting messages that are blank all the time. Happens when marines finish training and I have a TP docked. I just get a blank message.

Also I'm not getting any warning when my transports get attacked. I just realised I lost my 2nd UT somewhere and I scanned my logs - nothing in them about any of my ships being hit.

This with 3.1

Me too, and when I ask the TC startup program it tells me i need to get 3.1 and sends me to the downloading site, And that say I cant use it..... I want.... No I need that 3.1 patch so I can throw in that nice mod X-Tended Terran Conflict Mod 1.2a....
I realy need all those goodies....
Any Ideas or some one an staf to help maby?

(I am tired and English is my 2nd language, sorry for me bad spelling and grammar) ;)

If you download the 1.0->3.1 patch it should work with *any* version of X3TC.

And I don't remember it ever being fixed, so the "check for update" thing is probably still broken...
