Hmmm, have any of you guys been able to unlock any achievements? I've tried in my current vanilla game (tried building a factory) but I didn't un-lock the achievement. I've also checked Steam Global Stats and it seems that no one has unlocked any of them. Bug perhaps?

As has already been mentioned many times before, making the game multi-core compatible would require a complete engine rewrite.I waiting this update looooong time, and freeze my project (my mod) from January!!! But Developers didn't do anything about performance!!! And 2\4core processors not supporter again!!! now I'm totally disappointed by this game! and this firm! stupid brakes I got, who played knows about I say.
If you're not satisfied, then feel free to throw the game away.

It has been made clear on any number of occasions that it was never going to be possible to add support for multiple cores in a patch. This is because the game engine simply wasn't written with that in mind, largely because when it was created multiple cores were barely even on the horizon.
Regarding performance in general, improvements have been made in this patch as well as in previous ones, and the vast majority of people are not reporting performance issues. If you have a problem with performance then I suggest you register your game in your [url=http://forum.egosoft.com/profile.php?mode=editprofile][b]Fo[/b]rum[b]Pr[/b]ofile[/url] and post in the Tech Support forum with details including your [url=http://www.egosoft.com/support/faq/faq_answer_en.php?answer=610&version=8][b]DX[/b][b]D[/b]iag[/url] repiort.

It's not exactly that it has "removed" the LAA flag, but since the 2.6 patch comes with a new EXE file you do have to re-apply the LAA flag to the new version.quick brown wrote:The 2.6 seems to have removed the laa flag, assuming you already had it enabled (on dvd anyway) reinstating it gives back the desired results.

Probably why I have avoided getting back into programming.
