When installing this V1.5 TC spk using the Plugin Manager Lite V1.2, I get ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOM5_7 for 2,472 cr at the Terracorp HQ in Home of Light. Once the uninstall of JDK completes, the ware is gone. Activate JDK and it returns once install is complete.

I suspect this is because I don't have EMP installed, however the new script installer is not supposed to require the EMP installed if I remember correctly. From the FAQ for Plugin Manager Lite

Is this a problem with your file or with the Plugin Manager Lite? As stated I'm not using the stand alone EMP and the Plugin Manager Lite is creating a TWareT.pck in the game types folder.

I have seen this isn't on your update list any longer, but any thoughts?

I had the same problem. Seems to be incompatible with the new plugin manager.

hmm...shouldn't take too much to update it, tho...I'll look into it if I get some time.

I fixed the issue and yes it was very easy. There are some instructions for updating problem scripts in the Plugin Manager Lite thread, on this page.

Updated to fix emp problem, turn plugin off, leave for 10 mins (make sure the JD Fab built usually in getsu fune is gone first) turn back on and viola

If you have ZA_ wares in your ships hold manually run lib.lv.old.emp.warelist via the script editor (r,r,enter) and it will fix the problem and convert the to the new emp wares

So make sure you update my library's :)

I have been trying to make this script work for a couple days now and I am at wits end. I have removed EMP, reinstalled plugin manager, updated imperial library script, reinstalled upgrade kits, even reinstalled ware manager. I tried to manually run lib.lv.old.emp.warelist, but I don't know if I did it right.

I have done everything I can think of short of reinstalling the game...

Please tell me if there is something you think might work to get this script working. All I can see is ZA_EMP_BLANK_WARE_CUSTOM5_7 for 2,472 at Terracorp HQ in HoL... I am not sure but I don't think the fab is even in getsu fune. I will have to make a run there to make sure...

EDIT:

I posted too soon. I discovered a 1.6 version of this in your library scripts and it fixed the problem. Thank you for your awesome scripting work. Thinking about trying all the rest of your scripts.

Any chance of converting transporter devices, cargo life-support systems, etc.? Basically anything that's a plug-in device. It's so beyond annoying to be keeping little fleets of Disco haulers with jumpdrives just to deliver these fairly essential things. And then I have to set the Disco back up for the next time - what a pain!

So, looking to take the whole workaround out of the game so I can concentrate on building the empire :D

I've done a similar mod since this one is deprec (or at least it doesnt work for me)(or at least there is something wrong with a script call in the setup)(and I just wanted the "Upgrade Kit" feature, and not a big complex resupply system), mine isn't as fancy, it's just a special command that offers you a default package of upgrades, and options to add extra upgrades.

Looks like this;

To uninstall, run the setup file and select [Yes] when it asks you if you wanna uninstall.

If anyone finds a bug with the script, or has optimization/feature suggestions, PM me. But I'm not going to make a 20-file mod with AL and stuff, I like keeping it simple.

If LV doesn't want me to share this (since I am calling it "Upgrade Kit Command"), just PM me.

@Sesk is upgrade cost in your script calculated dynamicly or is it a set value? For example if in my game Jumpdrive is changed to 2mil cost will your script notice that?

Yea, and it adds some energy cells to go with it. (atm 10% of cargo hold, but that means 4,000 for a TL, so considering capping it to 1000)

Also the price is rounded to the 1000th tho. (123,456 = 123,000)

Also I forgot to add Boost Extension to the list, and having the "Triplex Scanner" as an option is silly considering the price of it.

Just getting back into the game after a long time away. Used this script in the past. Now, with a fresh install with patch and bonus pack, it doesn't wok correctly. The kits and station in GF show normally and I can buy them. When I install a JD no kits are used. When I try to do any of the upgrade packs, it says I don't have any on board even though I have 11 or more. I use the Plugin manager lite v1.30 RC1 with imperial libraries 2.6 and upgrade kits 1.6TC.

Other scripts running: AP Libraries--Apricot CBeam--Asteroid Relocator-- Cheat Collection--Improved Boarding--Marine Training Manager2.0--Scan Target Object--Station Camper--Universe Explorers--Community Plugin Manager--Hotkey Manager--Ware Manager.
Brute force and ignorance solves all problems, just not very efficiently.

I downloaded the EMP Ware Changer (lv.emp.updater). The file lib.lv.old.emp.warelist.xml was already in my script folder but replaced anyway. When I go to script editor and highlight the file, I press 'r' and get a window for null or select ship or station. Pressing 'r' again does nothing. Am I doing something wrong? Don't know how I'll make it without this script.

edit: jump drive, basic extension and tunings install without using kits, but full upgrade says I need 3 kits and have 0 onboard(Ihad 10)

edit: Tried turning off,waited, saved, quit. Unistalled libraries and upgrades. Redownloaded lib 2.6 and kits 1.6(in case of bad DL) and installed using manager. Loaded save, started plugin, waited. bought 10 when available transferred to new non upgraded M3. Same result.

ok this is the problem it seems the station has been killed over and over and respawned again and again there is now over 50 station wrecks in getsu fune covering most of the system, the lag is bad and u have to go all the way around to get from gate to gate ....

just wanted to see if im the only one who has had this problem.

also is there anyway to clean it up ( the dead station wrecks ) or do i have to restart the whole game and install an epic 50+ laser tower ring of fire on each gate to protect the system and insta pop anything that comes in to the sector thats a foe ?!

i'd rather just get the wrecks clean'd up and then install the defences and not have to restart tbh... but getsu is a key sector in the galaxy and atm its just a station grave yard in there :lol:

EDIT: the wrecks have been cleaned (thanks to thisisharsh's script) :D

EDIT 2: after having used this script now for abit i must say its mega usefull,and balanced as u still have to pay ! u need 11 kits to do a full upgrade so i just saved up 60 or so and made 5 UT's without having to undock, also its epic helpfull to carry a few spare in your active ship when rolling about incase u find a sexh m6 or higher that is claimable and it won't make the gate out, just install and jump her out like a true space ninja 8) good job LV... very usefull indeed.

I installed version 1.6 but I noticed that when I used the Upgrade Kit it will apply everything but still remain in the ship Freight Bay. I can then use it again if I wanted. Has anybody else seen this issue?

I've downloaded this multiple times and extracted it into a folder. It's extracting lots of files but I'm not getting an Spk to install with, meaning I can't use it, obviously.

Any solutions?

Go to any of the posts by LV and click the link in his signature that mentions his scripts. You will find a list of all of his scripts and in there you will find the .spk file to download.
