Southeasten Front

The first Band of Brothers station in the south has fallen to the Southen Coaliton! At 5PM eve time, Against ALL Authorities Dreadnaughts finished off the final BOB Player Owned Structure and gained control of 'The 0'o Helm's Deep' Station. This is the first move by Coalition forces against Alliance forces in the Esoteria region.

Just thought I'd ellaborate on this, as I am now without a home (for now)

Exactly 1 week ago, the SCA started to move into 0-o with the intent of removing the AAA farmers from the nearby 10/10 complex to hinder their war efforts. Esoteria has been a quiet region in relation to BoB friendly corps, especialy near an out of the way place like Helms Deep.

Sunday (1 Week Ago)
The SCA moved into 0-o. We had numerous battleships and a couple of carriers help us with the move.

During the week
While the last of the members where moving their stuff from our previous home, SCA members went about their daily bussiness, ratting mining etc. SCA members ran the nearby 6/10 plex and the nearby 10/10 plex. Sightings of AAA members around the 10/10 plex reduced and we had assumed we had scared them off. How wrong we were.

Friday Night
On friday night 1 lone hostile from AAA entered 0-o during an SCA mining operation. When the hostile was reported we immediately went into combat ships and attempted to find and elliminate this person. Our attempts proved fruitless and we assumed he was in a cloaked ship making bookmarks and generally having a look around.

Saturday Morning (1am)
Those that live outside AUS/NZ, or those with insomnia, who were still up at that hour saw 11 cynosural fields open up in system. Coming into system were 8 Dreadnought class capital ships and 3 Carrier class captial ships. Arriving outside of our timezone, they met with little resistance and quickly put the lone BoB POS into reinforced mode. They then errected 2 large towers of their own to claim sovereignty so they could then claim the station.

Their intentions were clear, they wanted the system and the 10/10 plex without hassel. They were not stuffing around.

After deploying their 2 large POS's they then anchored a large Mobile Warp Disruption Bubble outside of the station and set up sniping battleships out of range of the bubble.

At about 8am I logged into eve to find my mailbox assualted by dozens of evemails informing the alliance of what has happend to date. After a dozen WTF?!?'s in Alliance, the picture was clear. We were under siege. We were unprepared and caught with our pants down.

After quite alot of smack in the local chat channel from AAA (SCA policy is not chat in local EVER), which was quite offensive and was bad enough to warrent a petition (honesly, there is no need for any kind of racism), we undocked and scared off the campers, (and by an amazing co-incidence, the smack in local dried up). The campers retreated to on of their POS's and SCA held the station for most of the day.

Sunday morning (5am)
BoB forces were occupied in AZN attempting to defend their new home, and as such were unable to come to 0-o to defend their POS, which was due to come out of reinforced mode. As such, the lone POS quickly fell to AAA forces, leaving them with no opposing towers in the system, they were free to claim sovereignty and conquer the station.

The forces of the SCA, outmatched, outgunned and outnumbered, tactically advanced in the opposite direction, leaving 0-o.


I hope the above battle report is as unbiased as it can be. So help me god if this ends up in the CAOD forum, someone will be shot!

Of note in the system now is that Southern Cross Alliance have regained control of the station for the time being. AAA have let to place themselves in total control of the system sov and therefore station "ping pong" commences.

-LV- FALLS!

The final -LV- controlled station has fallen to the Southen Coalition. Retreating -LV- forces have been sighted in stain and lower empire regions. Remining -LV- forces operate out of their final POS's and have vowed to continue fighting until the POS's are destroyed and their stocks run out.

IRON Withdraw

The Imperial Republic of the North has withdrawn from the central battleground for the time being, serveing the northern Coaliton with support only.

Hey DJ, whats that BOB allied alliance? Celes might be able to assist, the targets we are fighting currently really suck. And they keep running away (LOL).

Alliances often have long memories. For some, old grudges will come out in the most unusual of times.

YouWhat declares WAR on the Northern Coalition!

Mabye just a small alliance for some, however this is slightly different. YouWhat split from -G- when they reformed to form Dusk and Dawn . According to YouWhat leadership, problems leading back to that time have caused their latest move.

However, it can hardly be said to have gone well for them. Freelancer Alliance, and Tri, who themselves just managed to aggree to a Non-aggression Pact for the duration of the war, have in the final stage of this week managed to clear YouWhat out of their region of CloudRing. YouWhat have been reported to be reforming in Lonetrek and will be attacking the Northern Coalition from NPC stations in Venal.

The Northarn Coaliton as a whole is generally ignoring them, perfering to continue waging fighting in the Fountain region of Alliance space. Several Mercs have been reported to have be hired to mop up YouWhat, including the infamous Divine Retribution.

Divine Retribution have just reported stage 2 of their contract.

Divine Retribution has declared war on YouWhat.
After 24 hours fighting can legally occur between those involved.

Youwhat forces have moved out of Cloud Ring and into empire to regroup and stage attacks, therefore DVRN has moved into stage 2 of our contract and declared war and will locate and engage targets in empire.

Southern Coalition Push On

With Lotka Volterra down to their final station, forward units of Koroshiya Buntai (Made up of mostly Ex-ASCN) have eagerly began pushing forward, as they pull back their old space. RISE Alliance, who surrendered to Band of Brothers in a deal reported to be worth 50 billion a month, have annouced they will repell the invaders. Dispite their efforts, the old ASCN forces have retaken the forward command post of VNGJ-U. The region has been declared contested.

No headway is reported by either sides in fountain or the central fighting points. Both side do report heavy losses in standard fighting, with minimal losses due to Titan Class ships.

Breaking news, as Band of Brothers suffer massive losses in southern fighting. 9 capital class Dreadnaughts comfirmed downed by Red Alliance forces.

Let me ask you Titanx3, how long has it been since you have seen a forum post by BoB about any kind of fighting? This could be interpreted in 3 ways:

1. They are loosing the fight: It is possible with the sheer number of coalition members attacking them and the amount of spot fires they need to put out are dwindling their resources.

2. It's a propaganda war based on the saying by Homer, 'It is best to remain silent and appear thoughtfull, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt." One of my favorite sayings, it would appear to be a good strategy, as the coalition usually posts stuff like "We downed a carrier!" and "BoB Dev HaX0Rs! R CoW@RdS!", making the coalition appear immature and have various corps and alliances turn on them (YouWhat!). While it cant be said this is their reasoning, it sure as hell is a good plan. All this while bob dont report about taking down enemy towers, putting others into reinforced, killing fleets etc.

3. Everytime they post, invariably some immature person posts BoB Dev haxors and the thread decends into flaming that they have thought it best just to stop altogether!

Whatever the reasoning, CAOD is quite a different place without the weekly Molle propaganda thread .

This forum ban silly. BOB has still been posting battle reorts in which they scored huge victories and ignoring everuthing else. ofc its designed to play in their favor, but with the main bob whores just posting with alts, and some of the coalition idiots doing the same, its really bloody annoying. I like CAOD, but the constant constant crap these alts come out with is making me really pissed off.
