Until the patch comes out of Private Beta, the patch notes are all that can be spoken about, with the exception of any authorised EGOSOFT contact.

That just mean you and I rather mod on Skyrim, where the modding environnement is ok by nature than in XR where it's a nigthmare, sorry.

Choices where made for MD, now we have, will I use it ? What for ?
There's as usual hardcoded GUI, now look how many mods for Skyrim are based on SKSE/SkyUI...

Look back to X3 mods. How many had UI vs how many without ? Same compagny, rigth ? X3:Reunion 1.0 was better than X:R 2.xx aswell.

To be fair they have developed a following since then, the 5th instalment of Skyrim with a host of expansions including an MMO still in beta.

And Space Sims aren't as popular as Medieval/Fantasy games, Blizzard has millions of followers which could dry up now that Skyrim has an online version.

Question that you need to be asking is how do you make Space Sims more appealing to attract more Modders?

Yes, even with the changelog, we are still bound by the NDA. You have to wait until Egosoft reveals more info or makes the beta public.

Its a shame I have the time to participate in close alpha, I have also experience with videogame development and computer graphics.
