Boron whale
Has anyone else noticed a problem with the Boron Whale when undocking? At most locations (especially argon trading stations), when I undock I immediately crash or get hooked onto the docking area and slowly die!
Thanks

Re: Ship nameing in the Xtention Mod : Creator needed
This is not a bug in XTM--you clearly haven't got the mod installed properly. (All the XTM ships are named correctly for me).Vic-Viper wrote:Okay it seems that i have been up and down this forum and no one has fixed the names in the XTM. Extention mod

Are you sure about this? Every time I've read this (docking at spacedocks impossible for M5-M3), it was caused by single ship models which contained custom docking ports, e.g. the Star Trek ships by Magrathean Monkey, which have a custom docking bay. After he adapted them to work with XTM, docking at shipyards became possible again even with them installed.-XTM- wrote:Thats what it is indeed.Jiggaman wrote:It sounds like a conflict between the ship creator and XTM.....
Also, my ship installer mod which contains 70% of the ships from the DDRS mod (and finally capped a Wakizashi, yay

XTM .72: Can't find alternate starts?
I've just managed to get Xtended up and running, and it is working fine, with all sorts of weird ships flying around, but I can't find the five alternate starts shown in the manual. They are not in Custom starts; is there something else I have to do to get them?

Re: XTM .72: Can't find alternate starts?
I believe its still a plugin manager issue. Reinstall the XTM script .spk after you install any other scripts to bring them back.nick the bubble wrote:I've just managed to get Xtended up and running, and it is working fine, with all sorts of weird ships flying around, but I can't find the five alternate starts shown in the manual. bah...wow forums use a more "primitive" forum system...thies (least from what i can tell) is database driven while the wow forums are more http/php [i think??] driven...plus they may not be coded correctly...hehe...anyways back to topic...
should i reinstall the xtm mod files and allow it to override what ever it does override [if anything] and same for the patch or what?

ok sounds like the problem is not with XTM it's with your knowledge on how to install a mod.
the mod files are supposed to be under c:\program files\egosoft\x3 reunion\mods (or wherever you installed x3 to)
not under my documents\x3. this is where your save games go.
so point the installer at the correct folder and try again.

The XTM file don`t go in the MOD folder.
YOu have to put them in the ROOT X3 reunion folder, where you find the X3.exe file.
Make sure that you don`t have any 10 CAT/DAT file.
As you installed the script files via the plugin you proberably will have.
If you do remove the script files.
Then extract the MOD files to the X3 directory.
BEST way is too extract the rar to a serperate folder and then move the files, as when extracted, it can make a XTM7.a folder.
After you have copied those files then install the script file vis the plugin manager!
